I was going to make a comment about it being $70 not helping things, but I just now found out it got marked down to $20 at the end of the free PS+ month. That’s even more alarming than this news.

I love the moment to moment gameplay in this. Throwing a curve ball around a building to bean someone is one of the most satisfying things I’ve done in a game recently. I don’t know if this game has legs due to the lack of modes, but I still bought it to support them taking the game further because it’s been a very…
That is A+ ad placement.
I liked the idea of Home and if you imported custom stuff or used Medium to sculpt stuff to import to home it was fun, but beyond that when nobody I know uses VR it’s kind of pointless and those avatars were ugly as Hell. Their redesigned avatars they’re using on Quest are at least way less ugly.
Man, I just started following them like 2 years ago and now it’s all falling apart. I was just thinking last week how sad I’d be if Vinny left, but literally my 3 favorite people on the site all at once is gutting.
That's sad, Gravity Rush 2 is actually my favorite PS4 game but I didn't really expect another sequel given it sold pretty horribly so it's not too surprising.
If this were Breath of the Wild 2, I’d agree with you but as a spin-off “what if” tale I enjoyed it. I realized during the 4th chapter that I didn’t actually want the same story told again when they started going into Zelda’s issues again - it was fine the first time, I don’t need further elaboration.
I honestly find fleet battles just too difficult without a dedicated squad. Even the easy AI I’ve only beaten once with randoms and it was as close as could be. Seeing as how I don’t like voice chat with random people I stick with unranked dogfights because of that.
Same here, but the leaked uncompressed version definitely sounds more like “eh, Bowser?” Instead.
The DS version definitely used "Buh-Bye" because I remember being confused why it was changed.
I wish. It drops to near single digit framerates during the final stage of the game usually.
I think it depends on which platform you’re on. I found ice almost unusable on Switch due to the lower framerate but very good on PS4 where the framerate is higher and more stable.
Yeah, that’s why I mentioned the toggle in my original comment: switching to that I feel is almost necessary, especially if you want to use the Tempest class.
The problem there is both bumpers are also used for important actions already.
I tried this despite hating every Battle Royale not named “Fall Guys” because the trailer and concept seemed really neat, and I am enjoying it quite a lot. The movement and abilities are really fun to use.
I feel like it’s cheating that you posted the 1 minute World of Warcraft gameplay trailer and didn’t force people to sit through the 5-7 minute long series of still images explaining the backstory.
I’m mixed on dragging those boxes around. It seems like a neat idea for a team game but if it’s a solo game (which it appears to be) I’m curious how they’ll encourage anybody to move the boxes when you’d almost certainly benefit more from waiting for them to be moved by someone else and then hop up.
I disagree quite a bit. The skill part of Hoopsie Daisy (other than not screwing up jumping through hoops) comes from learning where to position yourself. I’ve found I’ve contributed significantly more to my team and lose less frequently when I’m actively trying to figure out where in the arena my team doesn’t have…
Honestly, the thing that makes grabbers such a dick right now isn’t even the grabbing, it’s that the game has awful latency so that I’m just trying to walk and suddenly I’m magnetized towards a grabber out of nowhere. Same reason why the tail mini-games are such a drag.
It's never been confirmed officially as far as I'm aware but someone on Reddit tracked what team they were on for 250 solo rounds and 250 squad rounds and found they were most often put on yellow by a wide margin for solo games and most often on red by a wide margin for squad games.
