That’s definitely what a lot of people do, I just typically never see that many people get it wrong in my games. I know it happens though since people have apparently won the whole thing in Perfect Match due to everyone else getting it wrong, I was just joking because it’s such a rarity.

I don’t know what’s more amazing about that clip, the thoughtfulness of this player helping the AFK guy or the first documented case of more than 3 people actually being eliminated in Perfect Match in the background.

I own a Rift and a Quest. While I’ve never been happy they were owned by Facebook I tolerated it because I felt they nailed the mix of price vs. functionality and I genuinely like their ecosystem more than SteamVR. Even though I already have a Facebook account (my family ensures I pretty well can’t leave: my brother

I was a triceratops for a while, but now I’m currently a duck in a cactus pot. I’ve got 12 crowns but I keep looking at the outfits that require crowns and thinking "but what if an even better one comes tomorrow?" and never spend them.

Technically this is the third PC crossover costume as you could also get an Alyx Vance one.

Based on a lot of negative steam reviews (and from my own personal feelings), it wouldn’t surprise me if they add playlists that narrow the pool of possible minigames once they add more. The team games feel like such a drag in comparison to the solo events.

I think the OP is thinking of the Wii vs. PS3/XBox360 era where Wii games were $50 and others were $60.

Yeah, I tried the demo and it seemed fun but I was worried it'd basically just be more of blasting those bots. I also thought the combat challenges ran horribly and was hoping the final release would run better but it's sad to hear that's not the case.

It’s less that I’m criticizing their output and more that I’m criticizing their decision to have an hour long show about it. When you do that you set expectations at a higher level, especially at this time of year. I’m saying if they didn’t have a lot to show this year, it would have been better for them to just

I don’t understand why they even had that show. It would have been better if they just dropped little nuggets here and there like Nintendo has been doing for the past few weeks instead of standing in the spotlight and shrugging.

Yeah, anybody who complained about role queue should be forced to play healers without role queue. Have fun getting blamed for every loss when 4 players picked snipers and couldn’t be paid to stand behind a shield or take the point.

I know that when I’m depressed I tend to overreact to me doing something dumb by burning down bridges, so honestly I hope the owner of the site is doing ok.

For how much I disagreed with the list up until the very end, I’m glad Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe) got its well deserved spot at the top. That game is dang near perfect in my eyes. With the way the items work there’s a slight bit more strategy than there appears at first glance so when people know what they’re doing,

Oh my God, the first time I saw the Hy-Vee ad, I had the same gut feeling I had with the infamous Martin Luther King truck ad. Timing a bunch of Coronavirus headlines to a drumbeat felt so ridiculously tone deaf.

A local advertising company has made Coronavirus ads for local businesses which are even closer to being the exact same. Every single one has the line “As we navigate this temporary new normal, [Name of Business]...” and it's tiring because they air like 3 in a row.

I imagine Chapter 7 would be a nightmare to play with a keyboard and mouse.

Plus the game is balanced around needing to do a set of actions to reload which would make it trivial if it's a button press. It would definitely not work well without VR which I mean as a compliment to the game's design since it doesn't feel tacked on.

I used a Gamepad and it went ok, although I recall doing some remapping because I disliked the default controls. You do still need a keyboard to rename your ships as far as I recall.

I feel like it’s going to be rough going forward for smaller VR devs in a post Half-Life Alyx world for time time being. Before, I would still be willing to pay a premium for smaller VR titles because I was just hungry for content but I was already starting to get tired of it. A taste of a full AAA built-for-VR title
