Thank you, I felt like I was going crazy seeing decent reviews of this when two of the three main PvP modes are terrible. As you said, Smash the Star becomes a slog of camping and actively incentivizes not participating and the survival mode where only half of your team gets to really play at a time is such an awful

Given maintenance teams are supposed to visually inspect the track on coasters every day before giving the goahead to operate and the crack was visibly forming at least a week before it was caught, you've got to wonder what the Hell they were looking at during those track walks.

I feel reviewers handed me a gift because most reviews I read said Marion and Mutt were written out of it, so the ending blindsided me.

Yeah, that's largely where I land on it. The series still should have ended with the Last Crusade, but at least now it ends on an ok note rather than a disasterous one.

They killed Indy’s colleagues and framed him for it. It’s a plot point that largely gets dropped after the first act but supposedly getting the dial back and finding Shaw was initially to clear his name.

Its currently pay for early access. They already said it was going to be free to play later this year.

Yeah, but ultimately it’s up to the companies to bite the bullet and take the risk to make the software, and so far every company has been rather timid in that regard including Valve given the number of people who will buy their headset for one game even if it is Half-Life is limited.

I just don’t know how they’ve misread the room this badly. I mean, I know Facebook itself has been dubious since forever but honestly they seemed to be making smart moves with their VR department shifting towards stand alone headsets and paying developers to make games (granted, the exclusivity sucks but it’s easier

I don't remember but Hades had been in early access on PC for years before.

I feel like pretty much any time this happens with Nintendo it’s either a DLC, a port, or the game releases to middling to poor reviews indicating the stealth release is more of a desperate attempt to generate hype for a game that would otherwise flop.

To clarify, Overwatch has a console queue and a PC queue. The only way to have console cross play with PC is for them to join a party with a PC member in which case they join the aim assist less PC queue.

I’ve played OW2 on Switch and PC and I'm no pro, and honestly now that I’ve seen aim assist in action I’m ok with them disabling it on PC because I don’t know the best way to balance it. Mouse and Keyboard is still preferred to me because I’ve never liked console shooting, but the problem is the aim assist seems very

Yeah, that whole part just made my skin crawl with how awkward it was. It’s like someone just told him devastating news 3 seconds before they hit record and he had to pretend it was ok even though his mind was elsewhere.

I think Mario looks better in the actual trailer/movie than he does in this promotional art. It’s almost like they doctored him in this art to look closer to the game art which in turn makes him more in uncanny valley where the movie version looks just slightly different enough from the game that it just looks like a

I beat Splatoon 3's campaign last night, Octo Expansion is still better, but 3's is better than 1 and 2's base campaign and would probably be better for beginners given Octo Expansion is harder because it assumes you already know how to play.

IDK, how long were Bill Cosby or Harvey Weinstein in LA again?

I got in on the early access open beta via Twitch drop and am surprised how good this is. It’s not as good as Smash, but the team play mechanics add enough distinct flavor to help it stand out more than the Nickelodeon or PlayStation ones I’ve tried in the past.

Not sure what you’re talking about on the refresh rate, the Quest 1 was 72Hz while the Quest 2 can go up to 120Hz.

It looks like someone modded in a different game’s open world into Sonic Generations then added boosters and springs and rails so there’d at least be something to do.

I'm pleasantly surprised, I was happy about getting more tracks overall but the trailer definitely looked like visual downgrades to me so I wasn't expecting much. However, they've made visual improvements since then, the way the Tour tracks are handled is great, and the music is solid. Coconut Mall is the only track
