I’m super happy because they play exactly as I would have expected Banjo and Kazooie to play in Smash and I find them a ton of fun. The first thing I did was go into classic mode with them and I managed to finish at 9.5 which I felt was pretty good given I hadn’t played in like 6 months and hadn’t used them before.

I hadn’t heard about this complaint yet, but it’s adorable and delightful.

I was going to make a snarky comment but then I realized that’s basically what I’d be doing as well along with maybe Reaper because I play well as him even if I don’t really like his character design.

Oh God, the words “I’d have to limit myself to $100" crossed my mind in complete seriousness at this thought.

The night Joker was announced for Smash, my friend and I were talking about how it seemed like anybody could be DLC now. I said that night “calling it now, Tracer in Smash. Overwatch will come to Switch and then that’ll happen.”

I mean, that wasn’t exactly a hard one to call with the case being leaked. It’d have been more surprising for it to not have been there.

All you have to do is ROAR AT MONKEYS.

Oh I assumed that’s what it was going to be. I was just going to try it because I like Popeye’s and there’s one close by but no chicken sandwich is worth the publicity this thing has gotten.

The fever around this sandwich is nuts. As of Thursday, our Popeye’s didn’t have the sandwich yet (they said they were having trouble getting their initial supply). By today, they had already gotten and gone through their entire supply of sandwiches so I still haven’t gotten one.

I played it on the PSVR and I loathed the checkpoint system and quit about 30 minutes in.  I got stuck in a situation where the final encounter of a series of encounters was screwing me up and I hated having to do the like 4 rooms before it repeatedly to figure it out.

Yeah, I actually have a PSVR, a Rift, and a Quest. The PSVR came first and I was like “I love this, but I want more!” so I got the Rift. The Quest I more wanted for the novelty of standalone so I knew it would probably not get a lot of playtime out of the gate.  I’ve been meaning to go back and finish Robo Recall on

How do you determine when to do one of these “Ask us anything” threads?

My setup for this game is to have a chair in the back of my playspace and so (as long as I don’t get lazy), I stand up as I get out of the ship and sit down as I get back in being sure to reset the view each time.  It enhances that feeling of getting “home” when you sit back in the ship and also makes for fun moments

I think you nailed the point that needs more attention with VR: It’s a new thing that won’t replace traditional gaming. I think a lot of people were turned off to it because really early adopters tried to say it would replace it and they didn’t want to give up relaxing on the couch with a game on the TV. When you

I still haven’t tried the PSVR version but my understanding is that the PC version has better graphics by virtue of higher resolution, but that the performance is way smoother in PSVR. Indeed I had to set everything to the lowest graphical settings on PC to get it to run at a solid framerate but even then it’s far

Ironically, after I complained, I found like 3 planets in a row with tropical or other modifiers which were neater than normal.  However, I find those descriptors sometimes to be awful considering the planet with the second most water I’ve seen in the game was described as “parched” when scanned.

I think you misunderstand the economy issue I referred to: you say scanning rocks and trees won’t make a lot of cash quickly but now I have two S ranked scanners and a C ranked and I get 200,000+ units for every animal and nearly 100,000 units for every new plant I scan. As I said, in a way it’s nice because it makes

Ours never even got them in. I’ve gone a couple days in the past week and they keep saying they don’t know when it’ll arrive.

I did start the base building stuff on a planet that was kind of ok (no weather issues, grass and trees), but I was hoping for someplace a little more dramatic than where I ended up.

I was very turned off by the motion controlled flying at first (on PC currently, although I have the game on PS4 and PSVR so I’m planning on trying that as well to see the differences), but once I got the hang of it I really appreciated it and I honestly think I’m way better at dogfighting in VR just because of the
