I’m revisiting the game (in VR on PC) for the first time since I played it for 3 weeks around launch and I’m sort of torn. On one hand, I’m still kind of addicted to it and having a good time (which I also did at launch) but on the other hand, I guess I expected more things to have changed than it feels like has.

I believe Oculus Studios was basically funding that game so I’d guess it’s still exclusive to the Rift/Rift S.

You actually can’t fully turn them off in menus.  I turned off allowing phone calls and stuff and still get constant phone calls and messages asking me to buy nightclubs.

I’d find some friends to play with.  I returned to it after 4 years away and yes, you will absolutely either be gunned down by random a-holes at every turn or hacked to oblivion.  I’ve never seen a more aggressively hacked game.  The only way I had fun was getting into friends only sessions (and then it becomes tons

I’ll be continuing my new No Man’s Sky Beyond save. I had it on PS4 at launch but bought the PC version so I could use my Rift (I have a PSVR but didn’t want to bother with Moves).

Yeah, I’m getting a lot of those comments on here too and I don’t get it. It’s quick play as in “I want to play a quick game of Overwatch”. I’m not asking that everybody only use their best character and not have fun, but we should at least try to win since it’s the objective of the game. If you just want to be a

Yeah, I hadn’t played since launch and I’m finding the updates to be a double edged sword.  On one hand, I can see why they’d make things more tedious so you aren’t just trivially loading up on simple to find goods.  On the other hand, I don’t want to craft 2 things so I can craft 1 thing just so I can take off in my

It’s coming to quick play, but you’re getting classic quick play in arcade.

Right, I think it’ll fix quickplay for everyone involved.  You want to be damage?  Be damage!  Want to heal!  Be heals!  Everybody is there to do what they want when they want and there are no sudden surprises mid match.

I don’t like ranking systems. It removes all fun from the game for me.

I can’t wait for this to hit Quick Play. I don’t care about competitive play at all, but I still would like to win the game and so many times I’ve gone “Why are we losing suddenly?”, the answer is “Oh, the other healer switched to Widowmaker AGAIN”.

Yeah, they were definitely chicken strips at my location as well.  Not sure what went wrong there.  They definitely were underwhelming in either case though.

Yeah, if it was the Xtreme Waterparks show on Travel Channel (where they have the quote from him on ignoring advice) I saw the same one. I am big into theme parks and have no safety qualms with riding any rides, but after that show I was like “Oh my God this ride isn’t safe” and that was before the incident event

Alright, played 2 hours with original Oculus Rift. I started a new save (hadn’t played the PC version before) and I haven’t had any crashes and only a few minor glitches.

Trying it as soon as I can when I get home, will try to remember to report back.

I’m super looking forward to getting home tonight and starting up a new file in VR.  I had it and played it at launch on PS4 but now that I have a PCVR headset I bought the PC version just to play through it in VR.  Looking forward to seeing everything that’s new.

They’re adding the old quick play to arcade at least which I view as a double win since you can now get the arcade loot boxes while not having to suffer through some of its modes.

I’ve been dying to play this in VR, can’t wait!

Agreed, I hadn’t played Wipeout before I had PSVR but the Omega Collection is still my favorite VR game.

Yeah, RCT years skip November, December, January, and February to represent seasonal operation.
