Technically, Diddy Kong was developed by Rare so it was broken in Brawl, and Dark Samus was created by Retro Studios so there’s currently 3 on the roster. None from non-Nintendo franchises, however.

It’s coming to Rift later.
Yeah, it’s so bad it almost looks like a different design team was in charge of each body part with nobody talking to one another and the trailer was the first time they put it all together.
The Winston and Roadhog ones are neat but really feel more like Halloween ones. The Mei one is nice, but she already has a perfect skin in the form of Pajamei and thus the new one is pointless. The Pharah one is lame, and the others are fine but not particularly exciting.

Damn straight. I was originally like “cool, police skin, whatever” but then I unlocked it and found out the sirens wail every time you use the boost and it’s never coming off.
I know it’s being built on the parking lot, but they need to build a walkway to get to it from the existing park and that’s where there’s not a lot of room to work with currently.
I’m hoping they aren’t tearing out Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage to put this in since it’s very close to where this new land is and I don’t recall there being much space for a pathway between there and the Lost River Delta area.
Yeah, the Gizmodo people get a joke when they see one.
Plus, the concept makes way more sense for Pokemon. In the Pokemon games, you guide a character who walks around the countryside and through towns gathering monsters: what if that countryside and town were the real world and that character were you? Granted, I felt like it could have been a lot better but the idea…
I could see them doing a Zelda theme, but with it more or less being a Zelda skin over the top of a Mario game, not a fully different genre.
Looks like a solid sequel although I’m less excited for it than the original because I used a lot of my good ideas back then.
That’s why I specifically mentioned Terminator Genisys as the director very much did not want “John Connor is a Terminator!” in the trailer. However, I feel at that point the cat is out of the bag and if you’re reading comments on an article about the movie, you should expect people to be talking about the trailer…
My rule of thumb on spoilers is if you tell me “hey, I’m seeing/playing this old thing for the first time”, then I won’t spoil it regardless of age. If it’s at the point in which the internet at large seems to be ok with spoilers (usually a few weeks or months after release) then I’ll start giving up on spoiler tags.…
Oh right, now I see what you’re saying.
That’s because Nintendo is directing them not to be as money grabby: https://kotaku.com/nintendo-is-reportedly-toning-down-micro-transactions-i-1833100622
I’ve always avoided his videos for the most part because he looked like a creep in the thumbnails. I guess sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover!
I guess we know where Filip Miucin ended up at.
Bar Rescue is my super guilty pleasure. I’m sure most of it is staged, but I still eat it up. I guess that’s why some people still watch wrestling.
Yeah, Valve is targeting the enthusiast who wants the best experience possible while Oculus is trying to make it easier to setup and get people in and out of VR. Both are solid strategies.
