Yeah, I couldn’t agree more. Sure Pikmin 2 has two captains, but given your only options for your captain you weren’t controlling was either babysit Pikmin by doing nothing next to them or get carried back to the ship it didn’t really feel fully baked. The “Go Here” feature in 3 completely changed how I played the

You mention “Scary” and “Pikmin” in the same sentence and don’t go with the Water Wraith?

What odd timing, I randomly had a Pikmin video recommended to me a couple days ago and was thinking a lot about the series yesterday.

Yeah, eventually it just goes away after you keep trying it. It made me sick at first but now I can do pretty much anything VR without issue. I liken it to roller coasters: at first you get that stomach dropping sensation but ride enough and it goes away.

I definitely do not have a HOTAS nor do I intend to get one (I’ve got too much stuff in my apartment as is).  I know it’s not at all the same as Eve which is actually a good thing IMO: I just wanted a sort of relaxing VR game that I could throw a bunch of hours into without feeling much stress and I also wanted a

I got the game and expansion for $15, so I’m kind of ok with 10 hours, although I might make it longer. I stretched the original release of No Man’s Sky out to 30 hours.

I’m going to be playing some more Hitman 2 wrapping up the campaign before going back around and redoing some older missions to raise my mastery levels.  Otherwise, I’ll also be starting Elite Dangerous on my Oculus Rift.  I’d been looking for both a cockpit game and a slower paced chill game for VR and I’m hoping

Yeah, I actually just picked up Elite Dangerous on sale but haven’t tried it yet, but having played the Eve Valkyrie Demo, things are soooo much easier when you can track fighters with your head.  I’ve never liked dogfighting much in games because it often feels like you’re just looking for the enemy so it’s a massive

From what I read it’s fantastic but extremely shortlived.  Sounds like it’s less than 2 hours.

I’m in the US.  I still get items when searching that or wacky stages or sometimes the wrong mode altogether.  It should 100% not allow that under any circumstances just like every other game under the sun.

Smash with no items or One vs. one with no items.  Either or, I get the opposite (Smash when searching 1 vs 1, 1 vs 1 when searching Smash).

Yeah, I never played first person shooters for the longest time but my favorite activity in platformers and platformer fighters when waiting for something to happen like a platform to move or someone to respawn was always to rapidly duck. Didn’t realize I was probably angering people for a long while.

Yeah, the online play in this game is bad on pretty much every level including little things like this.

It just makes me wish taunts were enabled. I find it way more tilting than a taunt when somebody is clearly doing it when you make a mistake which defeats the purpose of removing taunts. On the flip side, it makes the times when people are clearly doing it as a sort of “Hey, we’re both the same character, let’s goof

Now playing

Actually, I thought the soundtrack to Yoshi’s Woolly World was pretty decent. There were a few solid tracks like Fluffin’ Puffin Babysitting.

It still doesn’t make up for them replacing Lime with Green Apple.  And yes, I know you can get lime in other packs, but the rest of the flavors in those packs always suck.

Yeah, I didn’t care for World of Light at first, but the more I got into it and the more neat areas I found the more I grew to love it.  While I’m sure some people wouldn’t like it no matter what, I could see it being painful to review though given just how much you’d have to chew through in a short amount of time to

I’ve stopped playing it recently because I got other games for Christmas that I needed to play through, but considering I put in almost 90 hours in a little over 3 weeks before that, it’s probably for the best.

It’s single player, so you’d probably want to wait on that.  It’s similar to the Robot Rescue minigame in the Playroom VR where the player in the headset controls the robot in a platformer, but there’s no co-op for the full game like there was for that.

I’ll be continuing with some games I got for Christmas including Astro Bot: Rescue Mission and Spider-Man. I’ll also be playing part of the Holiday Splatfest in Splatoon 2.
