I think it’s more stupid because it’s like who actually wears a pith helmet any more and isn’t wearing it to be silly or isn’t a cartoon character?

Unfortunately, you cannot refuse a high five if you’re on the winning team of partner party. I tried to do it to be funny after giving so many high fives throughout the game but it endlessly does the “Ready...Yeah!” and eventually my character seemed to high five even without me doing anything.  It’s sad because I

I called to set that up but made the mistake of mentioning another issue which seemed to end up being a software glitch because it was fixed later but at the time they thought was a hardware issue with my Switch.  They would only let me send the entire Switch instead of just the Joy Con to fix that problem, and given

Thanks for the heads up, was just thinking about picking up a new pair since I still only have my launch day gray ones and the left one is pure crap.

This feels like Jeb!’s 2016 run where it almost feels like he’s running because there’s news stories about the possibility of him running and not because anybody actually wants him to run.

(That the Red Wings, Sharks, and Capitals also have regular season conference champion banners in no way lessens the scorn that should be heaped upon Nashville for this, nor the scorn that should continue to be heaped upon those other teams.)

It’s worded weirdly, that’s not a sample size, that’s what each side of their die is.

Yeah, I purposely made a play (and succeeded) to win the event star on the islands map as Goomba by rolling +2 coins repeatedly while on the event space and going through the pipe several times in a row when I was far behind the current star and waiting for it to be obtained and moved.

Yeah, it’s still Mario Party so luck is still involved to a degree and I’m ok with that.  I do wish they could have it so you ask whether you want your allies to roll though.  I’m fine with it being my rolls preventing me from landing on the star space, but I hate it when I actually get the right amount and then have

Yeah, at least as far as people who post on reddit and other sites go, it seems people shared my experience where after about 3 weeks of regular usage the sickness feeling with locomotion just kind of went away.  During the first three weeks though I basically would play until I felt myself starting to feel clammy,

Oh, I definitely agree, I much prefer locomotion games and get bored by teleport-only stuff: that’s why Robo Recall never did much for me.  It just sucks that not everybody is able to get past that initial sickness so most games have to be designed to accommodate teleporting.

Well, you’d need two more Joy Cons than the Switch comes with to have 4 controllers. You certainly don’t need two Switches as the two Switch mode is only for like a couple mini-games.

The online is horrid so even if everybody else had it you would basically be able to do nothing with it. You can only play Mariothon which selects 5 minigames out of a possible 10. That’s literally all you can do online in this game.

I played a few rounds this weekend and so far it’s my favorite Mario Party for one reason and one reason alone: Partner Party. Seriously, that mode is more fun than the regular mode by a long shot. You move freely among the board and you’re on a team so you can discuss strategies. Do you split up hoping the next star

Ooof, really sad that it’s apparently PSVR only. I got Skyrim VR on PSVR and the only thing keeping me from playing it a lot more is the Move controls making moving around less intuitive and menu navigation extremely poor. While the menu navigation seems to be better here, I can’t imagine moving and shooting would

Although most people who play VR stuff a lot get past that issue within the first few weeks, some people aren’t able to get past the difference between your brain seeing motion and your body not feeling it.

I’m going to be doing some more of the challenges and maybe a second playthrough of Mega Man 11 as well as going to a friend’s house to play Super Mario Party.

Yup, happens to me about once a month.

I’m glad the comments here are a nice sanity check because I was reading this article thinking “Is this article really this stupid or is it just me?”
