White people, it is not your place to get offended for people of color. If you need it explained to you, read a history book. White people love taking things that don’t belong to them from POC, including their offense. Be a partner, be an ally, but stop getting offended for other people, it’s racist as fuck.

The level of America-splaining to other cultures in this discussion is cringe worthy. It’s not our place as Americans, especially for white Americans, to tell Japan how to do their art so it makes us Americans more comfortable.

Deadspin has a big race problem when it comes to accusing men of color of violence against women. The way Greg Hardy, Ray Rice, Derrick Rose, etc are covered is vastly different than someone like Manziel. But no one calls them out on it.
