Ad blockers are great. I use them everywhere. uBlock in my browser and AdAway and YouTube adblocker on my mobile. Speeds things up no end as the ads don’t even load.
I keep a jar of pesto on hand, a teaspoon of that makes so many sauces and other foods amazing
same in the UK. possession of any locking knife can lead to jail time.
I pretty much only eat eggs from my father in law's chickens. They taste great and I know exactly where they came from. Also they're free.

just looking through these suggestions and wondering - where the hell do you guys put your coins? pretty much none of the wallets on the suggestions have a coin compartment. are you so rich that you just throw them away? do you shove them in your pocket? do you only ever pay for things on card? for me, a wallet…

OK, this is really simple for me.
i thought exactly the same thing
i'm obsessed with tech too, but that's because there was always technology around the house. at a very early age - a Commodore 64. later, a PC. Later a mac (nothing fancy, just a powermac that ran system 7). they don't need to tech stimulation in their pocket if it's done at home.
when i have kids, it's gonna be 16 for a smartphone at least. they can have a dumbphone maybe when they're 14, but there really isn't a need for one until then.
