I normally right click on word in my taskbar to bring up the jumplist, it's one extra click and gets me access to one of the last 10 documents. much better.

Ok, maybe I'm missing something here, but why would Yahoo buy Astrid to shut it down? The only explanation is that they have a task program and they're buying out the competition, but where is their task program? Is it worth considering?

i tend to use low-fat crème fraîche instead of sour cream, it tastes pretty similar, is waaaaay lower in fat, isn't quite as tart as using natural or greek yoghurt, and is often cheaper too.
maybe gmail doesn't do it, but with thunderbird, outlook and any other desktop client you can simply use a read receipt to find out if they opened the email, which returns a message via email to say that the message has been read.
to sleep i normally set Xiaa Live Radio (android) on for an hour on some somaFM radio station or Lightning Bug app to play some nice little ambient noise sounds for an hour. i've never heard either of them turn off.
