This brings me so much joy!

Agreed, it is a cultural thing.

No one wants to talk about end of life care, and it puts families in terrible positions. A friend of my parents passed away in his early 50s about 2 years ago. He was in the hospital for about a month and was so, so sick. His wife realized he wasn’t going to get better, but his parents wanted to keep pursuing

I love this episode.

Yeah, I’m a fan of her Guy on Girl podcast. She seems awesome, and is in the top 5 of my “Famous people I’d like to get a beer with” list.

I can’t unsee!

I have an adult brother with a low IQ and various learning disabilities. He will probably never be self-sufficient. He lives with my parents, and will most likely come live with me or our other brother once both of my parents are gone.

That’s not really the responsibility of the hospital. That responsibility belongs to her parents, who have done a terrible job of raising a special needs child.

This is an off-topic tangent; Aisha Tyler did a wonderful podcast with Paris Barclay. He’s a fascinating man, I highly recommend it.

You had me at cheap Lagunitas on tap.

Yes!!

Whenever I see or hear “I’m not here to make friends!" I get lovely flashbacks to Jade from ANTM. I yearn for those simpler times.

This is very... phallic.

In NYC, it is kind of a big deal to certain people. I don't know why anyone else would care.

I agree with your sentiment, but just want to point out it's not the NFL. It's a college game. However, the NCAA is on par with the NFL; they're both awful.

Ding, ding, ding. I think Long Island also has a high rate.

I love when people talk about how WASPy CT is. Clearly they have not visited Bridgeport.

Cher is “always chanting and practicing strange spiritual exercises.”

I hate to admit this publicly, but I watch "The Royals" and Joan Collins is absolutely delicious on the show. I don't think she's worn any hats, but she has admitted to at least one murder!
