I think the thing with Steam is that the prices vary so wildly all the time. A game might have a great numbers but how many of those were from when the game was dirt cheap in a humble bundle or some other sale?

I still don’t think this series will pick up the amount of steam it has in Japan in America simply because its probably too Japanese for American kids. That said the new Yokai watch game they just announced takes place in America. I imagine that is their solution to grabbing the overseas crowd.

DOA5 has had nude mods since the original vanilla game back in 2012.

Perhaps understandably, Nintendo of America made absolutely no mention of any of this in their own announcement of if’s release. It’d be very surprising if they don’t keep it simple and just release the downloadable/choice version as the sole version in the West, and leave the third campaign for DLC.

Theyre trying to squeeze a few extra bcks out of the game. The majority of the revenue comes from the DLC outfits though . Tecmo clearly doesnt have faith in the PC audience to be honest and buy them so theyre not putting as much effort into the port
