yup, I gasped. Said “NO!”, too. Sorry if you where sitting behind me.
The quiet style didn’t bother me, it was just how it was delivered - she just seemed uncomfortable and awkward. Which made sense, when she did her bit about self deprecating humour - it was brilliant. What a smart, brave woman.

Totally. Very rare to watch a scene and have no idea where the actors performances are going next.
also: “casting of Wolverine” not “acting”.
the acting of Wolverine wasn’t the only bullet that we dodged - the original casting of Magneto was Arnold Schwarzenegger. Dougray Scott would probably have been fine, but Arnie in a battle of wits with Patrick Stewart? ooof...

woah woah woah: hold on there, sport - dump on Peter Frampton, Foghat, Grand Funk Railroad, Bad Company, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Kansas, and Styx all you want but don’t smuggle Thin Lizzy in there. They’d burn the face off any of those poseurs and not a “30-minute drum…
