I like Pedro but how did this dude not get the Reed Richards gig?
...hmmmm... sounds like something a no-good Hydra-type would say, mister...
Charlton Heston was playing Nick Fury, wasn’t he?
yup - as usual, it’s worth watching
Steven Soderburg’s commentary tracks are as good as his movies. I enjoyed his conversation with Scott Frank for the Out of Sight commentary as much as i enjoyed the movie, and i effin love that movie.
*golf clap*
the leads may not be Little People, but blink and you miss it later...
I’m amazed that Tommy has any hassle getting any movie greenlit, particularly a big sci-fi action movie. Do these “green light” people not like money?
dunno who Conor Boyle is but he’s doing a perfect Bill Seinkiewicz there
both would be ideal, but i worry that as soon as undecideds hear “tyrant, felon etc” they tune out and don’t hear a rebuttal to the Republican bs about how great the economy was when Trump was in charge, how terrible things are now. We need them to hear highest growth in West, highest employment rates in 10 years etc…
no-one cares that Trump is a lying sociopath - we know he is and if you like him, you see it as the price for a stacked Supreme Court, and if you don’t like him, you already knew all that. Attacking Trump on personalty and ethics will get Biden nowhere - attack the actual policies and his record, and then you could…

thanks for the edit - i stand corrected.
With or Without You from the final episode of Americans doesn’t even make the top 20?
his laugh certainly freaks me out

It’s lean and fast as a torpedo and with everything i’ve read about and by Towne, i bet he…
i have not! But i will investigate, thanks for the tip!
i’ll make a case for Executive Decision: every decision in the carefully planned rescue mission goes horribly wrong, and the movie is about recovering from those badly executed moments.
one of the most fun aspects of Predator is when you realize that all of those Alpha males are scared-shitless by this thing that’s hunting them. For real: they spend half the movie looking terrified.
