I actually don’t think I’ve seen his since 93 but isn’t the line about men not getting teary about An Affair To Remember followed by a scene of the same men getting teary about Dirty Dozen? Or am I thinking of a different movie? Either way, that line was brilliant.

isn’t it adorable how seriously Rogan is taking this? Or perhaps he thinks he can get in on the action?

...because most of Woodys movies are thinly fictionalized version of his creepy personal history?

dammit, you beat me to it... (also: when this was on, I was certain it was Janeane)

Caitlin, we love you and this book looks great, but you have to tell someone in the production department: stop trying to make this slideshow thing happen. Its a horrible way to preview, well, anything. THXBYE

thats fair, but you don’t make a living from writing about them. I’m always puzzled that, with so many other movies to review, he seems to be assigned movies that he writes so badly about.

he was married to Allison Pearson (who wrote I Don’t Know How She Does It) but I think they’ve split and I think I know why...

he really hates superhero movies. He just doesn’t seem to get them.

that Ghosts show sounds a lot like a sneak reboot of Rentaghost... You’re not sneaking that past me, Paddington fella...

these days, he’s looking more like Dr. Smith from Lost in Space.

you could almost say that this story is.... credible...

you just said exactly the same thing exactly one minute ago, upstream. MDB. (hey, thats another abbreviation for your collection!)

love double-page spreads that aren’t frozen in time, showing the characters move across the page. This looks like a blast.

hm. When did we go to a slideshow to preview comics? Not loving it...

waitwaitwait, need to read something again:

yeah, it almost trying too hard when it doesn’t have to. It’s like, I dunno, how can I explain it, it’s like... ice-skating, but, like umm uphill or something...

true but he’s pretty good in Hellboy 2

I am.

actually, thats roughly what happened in Solo. Why do you think all the fanboys where so mad?

“are you trying to stop me going on? Are you? Are you?” The way he goes from charming, to charming but a bit rouge-ish to aggressive to pathetic is brilliant. Mason was so underrated.
