I'd really be surprised if Apple prices this thing at $199. $299 is my guess unless it also has some scaled down hardware to go with the smaller screen. As of right now they'll need the same camera (on the front at least), same processor and memory as the new iPad or better to compete with the Nexus 7. 8gb of

I'd have to agree with you.. too little.. way too late. I guess if they made every BB to BB call a video call by default, full screen with decent front and back camera support it might take hold but just to integrate features already present in other devices for years... Meh. Maybe come up with some sort of app for

Agreed

When they've evolved to look like nothing more than a pair of sunglasses sure.. I'd wear them. But until then.. nope. I expect to be waiting a long long time for that kind of miniaturization.

God Particle. *runs away*

I'll be using an electric Bradley smoker on the 4th for some wonderful pulled pork and a gas grill to whip up some sides like corn/etc. with it. ;) So add another category to that mix.. electric!

I'd have to agree. Tom's still not told Weaver about his little encounter, they'll likely leave that til near the end of the season, then we'll find out that it is a concentration camp, and the 2nd Mass has to try and rescue as many as they can and escape the alien menace once again before they are all squashed like

Shhh.. don't tell them that. It's a secret. ;)

Pffft. By the time the whole world switches to IPv6 100% they will undoubtedly have enough tech in place to track it. No worries your anonymity was never really safe.

Price or no price, unless I can hook up a DVD drive, and install and play typical games on the thing (3D based games such as Diablo III, COD, etc.) and run them at a decent speed with some sort of optional control (bluetooth mouse maybe?) then I see no reason to have a MS tablet.

Actually, using more than a couple devices at once doesn't really float my boat, what is nice will be having multiple flash drives and other usb storage available at a mouse click. I tend to charge devices (likely 2-3 at a time if I had this thing) that require a full 500ma, and would also want the ability to do that

I stand corrected, was looking at the input. ;)

Nice. I missed that somewhere. All I remember is wanting to see so much more of the bridge detail of the Enterprise and being thwarted by lens flares. ;(

True that. ;(

It's pronounced "EVIL" hehe.

Neat idea, but with a 5v power supply running 1.6A maximum, powering more than 3-4 devices that draw anywhere near 500ma (the USB2.0 specs) is going to be a problem. Put a thousand ports on the thing and all but 3-4 will be near useless if power hungry devices are used in those ports. I would have at least expected

In other news.. Thousands of people blinded inexplicably by 3D lens flares in Star Trek 2..

+1, it was more truth than rant.

Go passive or go home I always say.. my kids would easily loose a $65 pair of glasses monthly.. or step on them.. or something. ;P

I'd rather spend 2k for two great 50" 2D TV's. ;P C'mon daily deals! lol
