$2k for a 3D tv with less than impressive 3D? Pass.

I dunno, I liked the first movie. If Will Smith will do a prequel I'm in for two tickets. I'd rather see a sequel though based upon the alternate ending.

My suggestion is don't use torrents. There are other options out there that don't leave your IP address imprinted on thousands of other computers.

I bet record labels love this stuff.. until some kid gets found out narking on a half dozen people and ends up with the crap beat out of him/her or worse. Or like the zdanee said.. Anonymous gets ahold of them and ruins their credit and/or college education.

I live in the middle of Missouri, closest Apple store is about 2.5-3 hours away. I honestly wish I had one closer, even though I don't buy Mac laptops and desktops, I do buy iPads, iPhones, and accessories for them. If PC versions of software/games now run natively on a Mac out of the box without purchasing Windows

If someone comes to me with a specific need, such as photography, drafting, graphical design, I tell them to consider both, not turn away from the Mac. Generally their budget for the purchase steers them to the PC anyway since there's an equivalent piece of software for the PC for just about anything the Mac has.

LOL! I have always said Macs were overpriced.. even if they were $3000 that would still be completely insane with the competition on the market.

3.8.. 3.7... 3.6...

The big one looked like it had no arms! Must. Not. Watch. It. Again.. dammit!

I also live in Missouri and St. Louis is definitely somewhere I will never live. But then again, bigger cities = more people = more stupid people.

Pretty neat.. although it'll probably wear out in about a year which.. surprise surprise.. is the same time your phone/tablet's warranty is out. Right now, capacitive screens seem to last forever, or at least until you drop them or get them wet because they are simply a chunk of glass with another layer underneath.

I say.. Meh. Internet providers (DSL/Optical/Cable/direct/etc.) have had the ability to do this for a long time but just haven't. For 80% of the home users out there it isn't going to affect them at all because their IP's, even if they are not dynamic, are assigned to their device/modem/router/whatever by their

These things are evil incarnate. I always manage to eat 1 too many of the damn things and feel like crap for hours afterward because they are so damn delicious. Evil I tell you.. evil.

Thanks actually for that review of WDTV Live. I have two sets that need something extra (they currently just have Joey's and aren't smart TV's) and I've been weighing the options between AppleTV and WDTV Live. Any issues with overheating by chance?

The only reason my company doesn't support iPads is that we have no reason to, and we're certainly not going to buy them for management, so those of us who have them use them for personal use because.. uh.. we paid for them. ;)

I dunno but a 5v (4.8v actual) NIMH battery has been around for a while already. It's being used in the e-cigarette industry:

Agreed. I re-upped my Gold sub just the other day because all my other TV's were occupied which have devices with Netflix apps, and I wanted to watch Netflix. I will begin the task of cancelling it once again soon. Why pay ~$120 a year for Gold (yes I know it's cheaper for 12 months, but still too expensive if you

My current combo of Dish Network Hopper, TVersity Pro Media Center, AirVideo (iOS), AppleTV, etc. works for me, but unless this new option is free (I assume it will be for Gold subscribers) I see no reason to add it to the already convoluted mix. In the end we're going to all need a cheat sheet for when you want to

Cool.. so I can integrate my Dish Network receiver into my Xbox 360, then grab whatever I am watching on my tablet and walk around the house/yard and continue to watch my show.. no? really? It only works with some crappy cable provider and then doesn't really work that way? Not really all that impressed.

More like they were enjoying the SciFi channel then wrestling came on..
