This is the least surprising thing ever. Overwatch is full of toxic people, including some that write for this very site. This was going to happen. It was in the stars.

This is exactly correct. There is absolutely ZERO proof she could have provided that would have been an acceptable enough for them. Her great mistake was thinking sexist gamers could be reasoned with or talked down with evidence.

the proposed doxer isn’t a pro. they’re an incel in every single possible sense of the term, who has been banned from multiple social media platforms and from the game itself.

Knowing only SOME of the history of harassment women face playing or reporting or working in video games I can understand why she would hide her identity.

Can’t wait to see the usual high-profile suspects in esports bend over backwards to tell us there’s no problem with how the industry treats women talent.
