My hate for Bama is largely fueled by the heart-crushing ways we ended our last two games, not the fans themselves.

I almost feel like this doesn’t count. I bet every rivalry feels like a friendly rivalry when you’re the best team for so long.
Agreed! Nice to meet a fellow Bama fan around these parts. I root for Georgia when they play anyone except us.
However, telling other people what they are allowed to enjoy is what all the coolest people are doing these days.
Your take is fucking stupid. Who the hell cares? Anybody can root for anybody they want to, and your attitude is just a recipe for being an unhappy shithead.
An 18-point* game is effectively up for grabs?
I’m an Auburn fan that has no problem cheering for Bama outside the Iron Bowl or the rare playoff the Tigers somehow stumble into. I think both Bama and Clemson earned their places in this final. I do think Bama had kind of an easy schedule this year, but let’s not pretend they wouldn’t have made it to the playoffs…
I don’t understand Lincoln Riley settling for two FGs deep in Alabama territory. You have the Heisman winner at QB and you’re offense is finally moving the ball almost at will. Also, you have a defense they gave up 40 to fucking Kansas. By choosing to kick he kept a three score game a three score game. Why not go for…
“but this game was still up for grabs late in the 4th. “
Alabama’s win probability never dropped below 96% at any time in the 4th, and wasnt below 90% anytime after the first 10 minutes of the game or so. Scroll down a bit to find win probability here: http://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401032078
Also also, as a Michigan fan, after they got fucking rocked by Ohio State no one was saying they deserved to be in a playoff.
Have you seen Notre Dame in any of their last 6 or so meaningful bowl games? None of them have been contests, utter maulings mostly
Roo-dee! Roo-dee!
Well, it happened. The college football playoff committee had their Notre Dame television show that they wrote the rules to make inevitable. Now it’s time to rework those rules and create at least an eight-team playoff. Let all the Power 5 conference champions in, throw a bone to whatever the highest ranked conference…
Excuse me, some of us were firmly aware that Notre Dame were frauds this entire time
I, for one, am shocked! Shocked that a Notre Dame football team would be vastly overrated and invited to a game they’ve no business attending!
it should have been ucf that got a chance to get railed like that.
I personally enjoy the opportunity to watch Notre Dame get beat by 30 on National TV. And because those cowards pick their schedule, the bowl game is usually our best chance
You know, back when Notre Dame meant something, they would have demanded a national championship before they covered for a coach killing a student.
Um, no. That’s a fantasy instilled by NRA death cult propagandists.
It won’t work. Ask JFK, Ronald Reagan, and Gerald Ford**. All of whom were surrounded by people expert in the use of guns, and none who were protected by using those guns.
