Of every possible old movie to pick, he has to pick the biggest possible dog whistle.

New Zari doing a charity thing for Feline OCD. That’s where I lost it. Snorting Scotch out one’s nose hurts like hell.

I loved this bit from TV Line’s recap:

Whether it's Acidcat or S'more Money, it's proof that any jab at real life theme-park-mascot-head DJs is never not funny.

did anybody intentionally invite Nyssa or did somebody just forget to take her off a next-of-kin list from when they were married? :P

It’s my favorite of the Dawn of X titles too, but I still don’t get how we finally have an X-Men pirate series but it’s without Kurt? Odd choice!

Maybe? I vaguely remember people clutching their pearls about something like that.

Did something happen to the Waynes that involved a gun? I feel like this hasn’t really been addressed in any of the comics, movies, cartoons, or TV shows.

So now that they've remade the story of the original movie and are going to do a sequel that's an original story that's....bad?

I am somehow both in denial and preemptively mourning.

That kid was great.

Yeah, I like Behrad a lot and I loved the Tarazi siblings scenes in this episode.

Yeah, pretty obvious twist.

This is going to make me miss Routh and Ford more. :(

Aside from the crossovers, even Elseworlds, you're fine.

You do not! You’ll miss the odd throwaway joke and you might need to google a character name now and then but as long as you’re willing to seek out the occasional piece of context, you’ll be fine.

I give the writers serious credit here. Behrad was slotted in so well it really does feel like he’s been there the entire time.

This show is gd delight. One of the writers said on twitter that they originally wanted to use (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life for this episode, but it was too expensive so Heaven Is a Place on Earth was used instead.

I laughed REALLY hard when Freddy asked for a pony.

Seems like they wanted a schism to drive NTA away, but not anything too awful that makes Team Arrow look like the bad guys... and it’s just terrible. So here we are, saddled with a scenario that wasn’t that bad (cause we’re still rooting for Oliver) but needed to be treated like an Judas level betrayal to fit the story
