Mister Bigglesworth > Mini Me, Fat Bastard :-)
I’ve been waiting for this to to get collected. Looking forward to it. I love Sean Gordon Murphy’s passion for the project and how he interacts with fans on social media.
Love the first one. My friends and I saw it multiple times in the theater and it was so immensely quotable. On the flip side, I didn’t like 2 at all (not a Mini Me or a Fat Bastard fan). Three recaptured things a bit though.
“I feared for my life.”
Excellent. Party on, dudes!
“I WILL FIND HIM!”
He was definitely omniprescient, for sure. However, I liked how far he pushed Ollie though. S5 was kind of a revelation after the shaky S3 and S4.
Great episode. I’m really impressed how well everything is coming together as we get closer to the end. Loved that the protection the Confederacy was offering was just a bluff. Thought they tied in Thanos really well. Talbot also makes quite the menacing villain. The stuff between Deke and Daisy was really strong.
I thought this was one of the better episodes this season. The plot is progressing, characters were interacting in interesting ways. A signficant improvement, IMO. However, Amunet is coming back next week... No!
No Prometheus?! He was incredible last season in Arrow. “CONFESS!” The thing that’s cool about Thawne is that I enjoy him no matter which actor plays him. They both bring something cool to the role.
Yep, Iron Fist was great on Defenders!
Conventional wisdom would indicate that most of the other X-Men related parts will be recast as they’ll now be part of a new continuity. I see Deadpool as the exception.
Yep. You’re playing Two-Face, not The Joker!
Yep! I left The Dark Knight almost certain that we would get Riddler in the next movie!
Yep! Jones as a tortured, calculating Two-Face could have been great!
I genuinely like RotS. It certainly worked for me when I saw it in theaters!
No, but it does have the absolutely kick ass battle between Kylo and Rey and the Praetorian Guard. That was incredible!
Tommy Lee Jones was much, much worse in Batman Forever than Jim Carrey. There’s a version of the Riddler character where Carrey’s over the top nature kind of works, but that’s not the case with Two-Face. The sad thing is that if he played it straight, Tommy Lee Jones probably could have killed the role.
Eh, I know there’s bigger issues at play with the merger to be concerned about, but I don’t care about those anywhere near as much as I want to see the FF and X-Men integrated into the MCU. Fox has shown they can’t make an FF movie and their X output has been wildly inconsistent over the years. Marvel/Disney will…
This series has been such a treat! Rainbow Rowell is doing fantastic work with the characters along with wonderful art from Kris Anka and Matt Wilson. It’s a very worthy successor to the BKV/Alphona original.
