I still can’t stand NTA, but I did like that they were able to take a step back this week and realize that they can disagree with Oliver while still supporting him. Family comes first.

The last ten minutes of this episode were especially good. Here are the things I really appreciated about this episode.
Easily. It takes place before IW. It’ll all make sense in the end. I’m sure the movie will be a good time.
“It’s your career...” LOL! Don knows what’s up! Seriously, Ruffalo?!
Apparently it’s not the Milano anymore. Their ship is called the Benetar, according to James Gunn.
He lost those abilities when Ego was destroyed.
What’s interesting about that fight is that it’s more of a boxing match vs. a straight up brawl. I don’t think the MCU had ever been in a fight like that before.
One thing I noticed on the second watch is that every time Thanos wants it to be personal, he uses his own fist, not the gauntlet. Happens several times in the movies. I agree that they still would have had their hands full even if he didn’t have the stones.
Why should kids be robbed of a pretty awesome post-credit scene? I’m almost 40 and that scene dramatically changed how I felt walking out of the theater.
Yeah, that would have been interesting. As far as him not acknowledging his screw up... the guy is in shock and grieving the woman he loved. How self aware is he supposed to be given the circumstances?
Our audience also cheered, as they also did for Cap’s emergence from the shadows. There were also gasps in the audience when Red Skull returned. It was a very cool experience.
Sure, it’s annoying, but it’s also a very human reaction. Plus, he also paid the price for it given that he faded away as well.
That’s a great theory on her part! For our part, my wife and I turned to each other about halfway through and said “we’re not taking our daughter.” Between some of the intense scenes and deaths, I think we’re better off showing it to her on DVD so we can fast forward and talk through some of the parts! Glad you’re…
Poor kids. It will be alright! Hope parents at least let them stick around for the post-credit scene (and explained what it meant).
IW has my favorite post-credit scene. It was exactly the spark of hope that was needed after that ending. Peter and Tony’s “goodbye” absolutely wrecked me. Tom Holland and RDJ absolutely killed that scene.
Maybe it’s just me, but I find Trump saying he finds the Paralympics “hard to watch too much of” much more offensive than anything Michelle Wolf said at the WHCD.
If you’re talking about Angel going bad in Season 2, I don’t think the show ever shamed Buffy for sleeping with Angel. It was always intended as a metaphor for the guy that becomes a complete jerk. I can’t remember anyone ever telling her that it was wrong to sleep with Angel.
Which we honestly know very little about, and what we do know about it, came from his ex.
Thank you! That scene is always wildly misinterpreted. And honestly, so what if she is sad about not being able to have children? That doesn’t make her any less of a badass or any less valuable to the team. I am literally watching AoU right now, and she is of tremendous value to the team. Without her quick thinking,…
Ha! I know, it would just be nice to see a tad more objectivity in this case. ;-)
