What was that introduction about? Does she really know all those people? Their names kept popping up so randomly. Why is her friend stifling a laugh at the start. Why were they both dressed in red? What is a Mull singing convention?

As an ex teenage Goth I appreciate the 'look my cake is bleeding' thing. If it didn't impede the chocolate I'd be all for it.

Cakegasm.

Must protest. I am white and can't stand coconut in cake.

This was a new one for me. Why not just use the word people? It's a bit like referring to women as females. Technically correct but somewhat dehumanising.

Why is Jeremy Clarkson in that gif?

Would star this twice if I could.

I am genuinely interested and really not trying to criticise anyone's point of view. I've found Nonservium to be interesting in other threads (not a troll imho) and wanted know more.

Not trolling (and fellow atheist). Just curious about what you think a moral answer to the question would be. I found Implication's answer interesting, although all those theories are ultimately unsatisfying. Is it the lack of compassion in theories explaining a situation that demands it?

I love everything about that statement.

You're not over sharing at all. Better understanding is never a waste. Thank you for opening up.

I thought this was what Care Bears were made of. Melted pony, dead angels and a whole lotta ...... love?

I laughed so hard I woke the baby.

Just one of those amazingly crappy jobs you have as a teenager. Nearly 20 years ago now. Those were the days.....

It's mostly what I could smell to be honest. The factory very carefully pumped all the good smells out. Inside it was so hot and humid that any loaf of bread falling off the conveyor belt went off in just a few hours. I was on a twelve hour night shift so I lasted longer than the bread. They didn't sweep up that

Nice.

Boy band, rock band or string quartet?

I worked in an industrial bakery one summer and thought I had seen all the gross bread stuff. I was wrong, so very wrong.

Hadn't heard of white fragility before. This probably makes me pretty ignorant (grew up in a small, very white british town) but I'm glad I did. I'm keeping it in the arsenal of sanity I have to use any time I read the news during our (UK) current national flirtation with xenophobia.

Did you accidentally cross a chicken with an alpaca? I'm not judging, i love the result.
