There’s a difference between portable and pocket. I can see using the Switch around the house (when the WiiU gamepad wouldn’t extend past a room) and taking it to friend’s houses and on holiday, but for day to day portable gaming? A smaller pocket console is more suitable.

I doubt it. Yes, The Switch is technically portable, but it’s not exactly a traditional hand held that can fit into your pocket that makes portable gaming attractive.
