This entire thread is why I chose to buy my house in a poor neighborhood. literally the only thing that my neighbors have ever cared about is whether their dog can play with my dog while I’m at work. And for the record, this doesn’t even register on the scale of eyesores in neighborhoods.

An e21 3-series. Imagine the joys of 70s German emissions controls and electrics crammed into a car half the size of the chassis that they were designed for. No access+fragile plastics+rats nest wiring=the worst BMW I’ve ever worked on.

As a fellow bimmerphile and daily driver of a Bavaria, I have to agree with you. I don’t even want a BMW made after 2003 with the exception of the exquisite e92 m3 and the delicious e65 B7.
Libel is notoriously difficult to prove.
I drive a 1973 BMW Bavaria, so approximately... all of the money. Plus several thousand dollars worth of cursing a month.
