I suppose the term ‘lose’ hints at people who are priced out, but it is a vague enough statistic that I haven’t been able to figure it out.

This was a ban originally put in place because we needed a few months to figure out what the hell was going on. Apparently, they have not yet figured it out.

The question I am asking is whether the 13 million is a combination of healthy people voluntarily leaving the market and those being priced out, or if it is just people who want insurance but are priced out.

Thanks. Yeah, I wasn’t/am still not quite sure which of these two options the 13 million refers to, but I would certainly be interested in finding out if anyone knows!

Fucking over the 13 million people who are projected to lose their health insurance over the next decade by repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate.

The House could just take the Senate bill and pass it, but they likely won’t. So yes, it would have to be reconciled by conference committee, which may be difficult because of the Senate budget reconciliation rules in play and the fact that they’ve had to do a ton of maneuvering to appease senators in the GOP already,

Let’s all just stop and thank Emma for teaching us a bit about lizards. I, for one, am thankful for the new knowledge, Emma.

+1 because this is fucking dumb.

I did this when I was a child...

This was me. On Thanksgiving I posted a picture of my cat laying around. I post a picture of this approximately once a week. It got double the likes of my engagement post.

I’m going to make a quick, blanket “Thank you!!!!” to everyone who says congratulations to me. To be clear, this was not begging for someone to congratulate me—that kind of desire for approval is reserved for my father—this was me making a joke (much like the desire for approval thing was a joke.....or was it?).

I got engaged on Friday, and no one gives a shit.

I think the hope is that they already have the stars, and they will only need role players. But even if Fultz turns out to be a bust (I don’t think he will, but okay), players will be foaming at the mouth to play with Simmons and Embiid.

There’s no reason for the Sixers to buy him out. If someone ends up with an injury during the season, there’s a chance that they come knocking on the door for Jah. And if they buy him out, there’s a chance he goes to a contender and ends up hurting them sometime down the line.

That’s why head coaches are head coaches. He must have seen something that the rest of the team was unable to catch with Peterman throwing.

“Positives coming out of Arlington” is an oxymoron.

The upshot of this is that Otani currently exists as something modern baseball, due to its lack of salary cap, has never really seen: a premium talent who is liable to sign anywhere.

This is what I came to say. How is someone who can’t even get their century terminology correct supposed to be a fucking judge? This should disqualify him automatically, without even arguing over the “first KKK” stuff.

Agree on the hockey on Deadspin part. I think we are just interpreting (litereally every single) actions differently. I suppose there’s no real way to know what’s going on in their head. My main point was to say that Tkachuk knowing Witkowski’s skate wasn’t a spear and, while probably an asshole move, was most likely

1. Putting aside the fact that it looks like Kulak is incredibly worried about the large man on top of him hitting him again and that’s the reasoning behind still having his hands on him—the fight is over, there’s a guy on the ground, there’s no need for anything aggressive after that point. Particularly something
