Todd is my favorite side character on this show now. The look on his face when he said 'Horrible!' just made me crack up so hard. I think it's how he's sort of moon faced and the 'o' in horrible matched his face shape with his mouth shape. I don't know but it hits right on my funny bone.

'The Malone-Chambers act of 1983' is a seriously solid joke. That preempts any comments I was going to make about the episode tonight. I tip my hat to you.

I like your analysis of her motivations here. Her sort of being lost in a dream and the floaty scenes with the UFO stuff seem to fit together.

My mistake, I didn't mean to imply that Curb was a traditional sitcom. I meant that I'd rather watch Curb than Becker, as I know that to be a traditional sitcom.

My image of Jimmy is a more 'awe shucks' kind of guy so it is jarring to see him act that way. Great point about him seeming insensitive.

I'm not a fan of traditional sitcoms but I'll take a peek at his curb work.

I love this show too. I've been having a really hard time trying to get my friends to watch this show unfortunately.

You haven't talked about the ratings and chances for renewal as far as I can recall. What are your thoughts on that?

I concur. She has looked fantastic in Agents of Shield for the most part.

You know, I haven't seen any of his shows between this and Cheers. What shows did he actually stand out in? I think 'Becker' was well regarded, no?

If it doesn't come back for a second season we'll always have the av club comments section

I have a large family and I've heard almost something like a direct quote of 'Would I like to be surrounded by the unconditional love of a hundred filipinos?' from a friend before. The little toss away gag of 'Lynn' drinking at the bar and telling Greg 'you don't tell me what to do' was hilarious. I swear that Greg

Yes, I agree with you completely. In terms of the two male leads they've sort of setup for her I don't feel a strong pull to either of them. She's fun to watch when she's all smitten with Jimmy but I'm not feeling a lot of chemistry between those two.

It doesn't look as bad as the one that they tried to get Adrienne Palicki in for the Wonder Woman show. Go take a look at that one, oh my goodness. I will say this about the costume: I'm glad they didn't overly sexualize it. It seems feminine but also somewhat practical. My only gripe is the parts that extend up over

Care to elaborate more on the friendzone plot you referred to up there? Do you think that they'll have a big heartbreak scene down the line with him or do you think he's the one 'right in front of her the whole time' end game play?

Don't ever watch ANYTHING before Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

So which twelve planets has she been to? Or was that when she was a girl? Traveling through electricity brings up the unfortunate memory of Amazing Spider-Man 2. This one was much more enjoyable. Also, it looked like Kara and Cat were running soooooo slow when they were trying to escape CatCo.

Ted Danson and Kirsten Dunst both did their finest work in the kitchen and living room scene here tonight. I wouldn't have pegged my favorite interaction of those two to be scenes with each other but here we are. She had a great line when she said she's 'living in a museum of the past'.

Sigh. I think you're right. I don't have to like it though.

When Darryl said 'You will be' in response to the girl saying she was sorry I had a little bit of a smile on my face. Always enjoy hearing something badass and ominous from one of the most popular characters. The cold open for this episode was also pretty well done. Most of the cold opens this season have been solid
