You did good, kid
I think that they are improving. Elizabeth Banks has stood out to me for the entire series so far. She plays that role really well. Rob Lowe is channeling other characters that he's played. I think he's the weakest one out of the four main. Actually Kata Mara is kinda of boring sounding. What do you think?
I hadn't really looked into her past so this was a great read. It sounds like she definitely worked her way up to this show. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has become one of my favorite new shows. Mondays have become the weirdest night because of this and the Fargo one two punch. You rock Rachel Bloom!
I know that a lot of 80's music is cheezy/corny at this point but somehow the songs they pick at the end always seem to complement the episode sweetly.
Well now we need to know what woman/man you have dressed up as in a bid to get them to notice you.
Well well Domino, based on upvotes it appears that I have won with Pizzazzle!
It does sound dumb. Let's never speak of this again.
Holy crap Pizzazzle and Dizzazz….I'm so torn!
The statue at the beginning with the cop standing over the man on the ground with his hands up was a great background joke. Elizabeth Banks voice work continues to get better each week. The creepy dude following Chrysalis looked exactly like Mark David Chapman .
I googled an image of her and you are correct. I agree completely; the almond shape is what makes it look off. Someone else said they tried to hard to bring her into the human looking realm and not enough pig that also makes it unsettling.
Coulson you have to watch out for the HONEYPOT. In reality its been telegraphed since their first few scenes together. Good to see that Fitz gets to also show some emotional range this episode. It's interesting that for both him and Simmons they get to do their most solid work without acting off of anyone else.
I have lived through that exact same cold open while babysitting my little cousins and watching spongebob.
I re-watched the scene where he disappears into the shadow three times and I laughed every time. There's a way when he says 'You know what they say about secrets in the theatre' and his eyebrow goes up just slightly that makes me laugh so much harder.
I think it would be a shame for them to toss absolutely everything out. Some of it has been great, for instance, I didn't even know who Uncle Deadly was before and now I love him so much. I also think that the setting itself is solid, as it reminds me of 30 rock, but with a much lower joke per minute count. Maybe…
It's the half closed eyes I think. That is what makes it look off to me.
What do you think will be the biggest changes from the retooling? Kermit and Piggy getting back together? Also, was it you last week who said when the shows lets the other characters breathe it's funnier? Because Bobo with the towel line line last week, and talking about being in the service this week, those were both…
Is Big Mean Carl the character that is the receptionist? Because I love that guy. 'So, you want Starbucks?'
'Greedy Reptilian shitbag' stole the episode for me tonight. Duncan Trussell smokes too much of that wacky tabaccy.
I don't have a great knowledge of it but I do know about its radioactive properties. They mentioned 'demon core' in this episode and I've read about the actual demon core which irradiated a scientist in a US laboratory. The peacemaker sounds awful, but maybe I'll watch it just to see that terrible ending.
