I lurk on gawker quite a bit, and I just had to make an account to point our how utterly pathetic it is to not only a.) Be a total, unbearable asshole in nearly all of your posts, but b.) To justify your shit attitude because of your disability while bringing it up at every moment. Get over yourself.

all the suicidal talk is some other-level disturbing shit, has no business here. ugh.

Quite likely. This is a reinterpretation of the most scant soundbites in the worst UK tabloid (against considerable competition in their race to the bottom). Maybe Visconti is a dick, but if he is then it’s a coincidence. The Star item is stuffed with conjecture from its writer.

From someone who knows, because this is what I do:

Where did he/she complain about not enough rape on tv? Really, if that's what you got out of that comment then either you've got reading comprehension issues or your bad faith is showing. I suspect the latter.

For all the people complaining about why this took so long to be removed, while other stuff like breastfeeding and violence are taken down immediately.

I expect to see stupid/stubborn commenters when I get linked to Jezebel, but you really take the cake.

That was a quote from the article you obviously failed to read. See how it is the the great quotation box.

He was getting the award, not her.

As I said, if she was the bigger celebrity it would be her name first but he’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world so it’s never going to happen. Angelina Jolie usually gets mentioned before Brad Pitt when they attend similar events because then, though they’re equally famous, she’s a more vocal activist.

You post over 500 times a week, and it’s often degenerates into dismissive, condescending bullshit. My guess is that you don’t like yourself, feel gravely disappointed in how your life has turned out, and have few, if any friends.

Eh. I think it took the same amount of balls as the reporter who asked Tom Hardy about his sexuality. The wrong question at the wrong time. What was Stewart even going to say in this situation?

Again, shrug...I dunno. Liability wavers can often do a great job protecting you, but they’re by no means ironclad—esp. depending on the different party’s behavior and the overall circumstances (e.g., City of Santa Barbara et al. v. Superior Court). Waivers can and do get negated, esp. in the case of negligence and/or

You’re right, it’s just weird to me I guess.

1. Shooting weddings, you will never work -every- weekend of the year. Wedding season is a thing and it severely limits the number of weddings you can book in a year. You will book typically in the realm of 20 weekends, sometimes double, or triple, booked (Fri/Sat/Sun) and probably max out at 25 weddings a year.

Rockymountainrococo, what you seem to be missing is that the key distinction between a hate crime and a non-hate crime is motivation. Only when the crime was primarily motivated by hate against a group of people does a crime become a hate crime. Even if the perpetrator hates a group of people that the victim is a part

Thanks!

I live in Chicago. We have professional dog walking services for average people. I would imagine it’s somewhat common in places where professionals have pets but work during the day and want to make sure their dogs get adequate exercise/don’t mess up their carpet. I’ve used them on occasion when I need to, and if

Yep. Even with our super trained, Canine Good Citizen, extra certified therapy dogs, we’re super careful about dogs getting close to each other and we document every single “incident” even if it wasn’t really a thing, if only to keep a record in case someone comes knocking with a lawyer. I don’t know why you’d want to

Not a dog walker, but I volunteer for a dog rescue group and a canine therapy/certification group. Stuff happens, but it is always your responsibility to keep dogs at a safe distance and under control, especially if you know they get excitable easily and double that if they’re bigger.
