That is actually an amazing decision and I hope it happens.

I honestly didn't know this season was going to all take place during the riot, and found out from seeing the headlines here. However, I'm glad I did see that, as otherwise I would have been wondering when the riot was going to end for at least the first few episodes. I also don't consider that a spoiler, as…
Thirded.
Takis are huge in the Central Valley.
I actually like their dynamic this season. Even when they have quarreled, it's been much more relaxed than in previous seasons. There's no melodrama. That means there's also not much of story there, but at this point I like just watching these people hang out.
After the first episode this season, I began wondering who should be considered the show's lead now that it definitely isn't Piper, and Taystee was the only character I could think of who even sort of fits the bill.

Yeah, I have no idea how you're seeing Alison as any better than any other character on this show.
Ugh, can't you just enjoy or not a movie based on its own merits without fear of being judged as sexist/racist/whatever other bias around?
I think if last week's episode had actually managed a decent ending, we'd be judging this season a lot more kindly. But it didn't, so the fact that three episodes built up to a big wet nothing makes the flaws in the season as a whole stand out more.
See, I loved Last of the Time Lords, and I think this episode is far more deserving of the coveted "A/F" grade then that one.
What is it about this season with good-to-great episodes sabotaging themselves with weak endings? I feel like if it weren't for the last ten minutes of most of these, this would be an all-time great season.
I did not like her in the pilot, I did not like her on Masters of Sex, but boy she nailed the complex and conflicting emotions here. Just the perfect blend of taking the material seriously while also being hilarious.
I felt that moment was unearned. We haven't seen much quality interaction between Lance and Dinah, and up to this point, she has *never even expressed a desire to be called the Black Canary.* I like her (and I especially dug her Rebirth-faithful Canary costume tonight), but the whole "becoming the new Canary"…
Vampire Diaries does the same thing. If I ever run a show, my show bible will explicitly ban this kind of thing.
Yes. I believe Jake killed James and Huck tortured Quinn in the SAME EPISODE. It was like the writers were competing over which of them could come up with the worst jumping the shark storyline. And it wouldn't have been that bad if there had been consequences for either of those things, but the season ends with Olivia…
That was a good time to stop. I wish I had done the same. But I'm proud of not watching a second of Season 6.
One really refreshing about Season 1, aside from the case of the week and Olivia just being an awesome boss, is that Fitz is basically a straight-up villain. He's the Big Bad of the season, before being supplanted by Cyrus. There was a purity to that, before the show through its moral compass out the window, then ran…
You really don't know what you're talking about. The New 52 has established that Supergirl is stronger.
The problem is that if that's what they're going for, it isn't clear at all. And it doesn't feel subtle, it feels like we have no idea what this relationship is, what it means, or if it will matter to anything.
