I think that if she’s selling stuff that “hydrates and plumps your tissues and fills your chakras with anti-aging vibrations”, it’s just logical to point out that her tissues ain’t plump and her chakras sound like a box of nails.

As a fellow older millennial, I sometimes wonder if it’s sort of like an immune response. Younger people from some backgrounds haven’t really had to deal with bigotry that was common in the open even like 10-20 years ago. Having not dealt directly with that, they have a lack of perspective on dealing with bigotry…

I agree. I loved Tár, and I wouldn’t be mad if it got best film. While I think Blanchett was amazing and performed the role perfectly, it just wasn’t a role demanding the range that Yeoh’s performance did. I wouldn't be upset if either won, but I definitely think Yeoh should win.

That was something that seemed a little odd about this article. It's odd to frame it as "an eating disorder is a side effect," when it seems like that's exactly why some people are taking it. The side effect is loss of appetite, the disordered eating was already there.
