I agree that Hamas is counting on it, as they are probably the only organization that cares less about Palestinian civilians than the IDF. It’s generally not a good idea to give your enemy exactly what they want though.

I have actually seen a shocking number of people defending Hamas lately. Like, whatever the line is for "Nobody would have a take that bad..." someone's out there saying it.

I know this is a troll account, but it's kind of hard to use the hostages as a justification when it also seems like Israel is trying to level all the places the hostages might be held.
