I don’t think you “decided” anything, but this is the article you’re commenting on.

It just seems like people only go this hard when the injustice might be faced by a rich person. There was another article a couple weeks ago about a poor black woman who’s pregnant in jail, and that article has like 20 comments (none from you, I notice). You’ve probably left over that number on Holmes yourself.

Sometimes they call themselves the SHE-E-O, so that you can feel empowered about that sexual HERassment.

Oversimplify it like the terms of sale for Simon, the son you sold for meth in 2015? Everyone in Ames knows the truth about you.

Yeah, having watched Don Wong, I think I’d probably rather my spouse praise me publicly and do a quick bounce than release an hour special about how unfuckable I am before the divorce.

I mean, so far she’s right.

As I’ve said in several comments, I think a more fitting punishment would be one that actually offered restitution to victims and helped to undo damage. I just also don’t think that if we’re going to make individual exceptions for our current system, we should be starting with rich white ladies. We already know that

You seem to be a lot more intimately familiar with the details of Holmes’s personality, beyond what you can get from watching one documentary about her, to opine so confidently that it’s a good thing that she is being separated from her children (you’re related to her? friend of a friend?)

It’s a little weird that you’re dedicating this much time and text to a topic you’re admittedly unfamiliar with.

If anything, I saw waaaay more backlash to his divorce. I’ve barely seen any about hers. There also seemed to be a lot of backlash because Mulaney talked so well about his wife until the divorce (blindsided!), which uh... certainly isn’t the case for Wong!

She doesn’t think of other people in general. I doubt it makes a difference if she’s related to them.

Some people (like Elizabeth Holmes) are also inherently cruel and harmful. Keeping people like that away from their kids is good. We do it to poor people when it’s not necessary, and we don’t do it to rich people when it is.

She’s too pretty and fertile to go to jail!

If they do send her to jail is she just going to throw out the kids since they didn’t work?

You certainly relieved your meth debts when you sold your son Simon in 2015.

42 years of hard living, no less.

It’s a little weird how people are so defensive and refusing to even engage with the pretty obvious ethical concerns and power imbalances inherent with exchanging one’s body/child for money. I don’t think it’s always inherently unethical, but I’d certainly want to give it some thought to prevent the unethical uses.

Don’t equate lgbt+ rights with Paris Hilton’s ability to rent a uterus.

Weird how skinny rich women are all high risk pregnancies all of a sudden. (But obviously, if someone is poor and a high risk pregnancy... fuck them for the audacity, frankly.)
