Exactly. And there are so many miserable movies that seem to be made just to get Oscars. Winning doesn’t even indicate it’s a great movie, just that it’s That Type™ of movie.
And aren’t the nominations made by other actors who are members of the Academy? The Oscars have been out of touch for so long that it surprises me every year that people are disappointed.
