She says she’s “only ever had botox” like she didn’t have a completely different face like 12 years ago.

It was a joke about modern (ter)feminists complaining that men are superior, not a call to make all sports coed.
If the extent of “looking for enemies” is “tHe LeFt” saying “perhaps this old, rich lady is out of touch and her opinion isn’t particularly relevant” then you might actually be the one looking for enemies.
You gotta #notallwhiteladies
At least they used a consistent misspelling!
It’s classic conservative logic: I get my way AND I get to dictate what you get.
All these people complaining that "you can't say woman", despite nothing stopping them from saying it. Someone else not using language that centers them is the worst problem they can imagine.
I would get into the problems with you “scientific fact”, but since you’re apparently completely out of your depth with adjectives there’s probably no point.
It’s wild to me that transphobia gets feminists and misogynists saying the same things. Like, at least the misogynists know what they’re doing.
Right. Women are more than body parts. So if you want to specifically address people who have uteruses, it's best to address... people who have uteruses. Since women aren't just uteruses. But again, nobody is stopping you from saying women.
The places that say "people who can get pregnant" generally also say things like "people with testicles". The difference is that the right hasn't turned it into a smokescreen that a lot of people apparently fell for.
It’s odd that while reproductive rights are being stripped, people like Midler are spinning in circles over an imagined threat of the word “women” being... taken away? Instead of, you know, actually worrying about the real threat.
Sure, infertile women are women. They’re not “people who can get pregnant” though. And there are people who can get pregnant who aren’t women. If you want to target something to “women”, address it to “women”. If you want to target something to “people who can get pregnant”, address it to “people who can get pregnant”.
I wonder where the rhetoric all these soft brains are repeating came from?
Wow, is there room for another person under that rock?
“*Minority group* is taking things away from us!" is generally a pretty close precursor to violence.
Yeah, sort of like how there's been a push away from treating breast cancer as a "women's issue," since men get it too and were going undiagnosed. Just address the whole crowd!
That’s a very tall, heavy straw man.
She’s a uterus, not a brain!
I agree. I'm saying I haven't really seen a big push outside of the medical settings. I've seen some trans men and afab people use it, but I haven't seen a push to prevent anyone from saying "women". The problem was invented by the right and adopted by the gullible.
