Is there another way to identify as non-binary?

I assume they were just trying to not give that rumor air. I feel like even if they report that the claim was baseless, people are just going to run with it.

I had a roommate who dated a guy like this. He always had a story, and it had to be better than anyone else’s. It was so weird because they would be so specific and extreme that they weren’t even believable, but he absolutely wouldn’t back down.

Maybe if you’re running a TV show and need new melodrama every week, this is exactly the kind of person you want to have around? I mean, I think you’d want her in an isolation tank or something.

Florida is a great example too. Like 48% of voters went for Biden in 2020! When people talk about it “being red”, it ignores almost half of the voters. It’s one of those states that always coooouuuuullllld swing Blue. I mean, elections have been so close they’ve had to be decided by the Supreme Court! If those of us

I get it. You don’t read. I don’t know why you’re so offended by the idea that there should be ideas other than “People should just move.” or finding more comprehensive solutions that work for people who can't afford to move.

I think the author can’t distinguish between an antagonistic interviewer making an accusation and a friendly interviewer giving her a chance to respond to an accusation.

I did move, and it took a full decade of trying and being briefly homeless when I landed. It was also due to an incredible alignment of circumstances that even made that possible. I feel like a lot of people don’t know how much goes into an interstate move.

My whole point has been that reducing advice to “Just move.” leaves out a lot of people who don’t have that option. It flattens whole populations with complex demographics into “blue” and “red,” where everyone in red areas is just getting what they have coming. It’s also kind of pointless because everyone is familiar

You can’t really say that I’m seeing it in black and white because you seem to just be firing off responses without actually reading what anyone else is saying.

You responded twice and managed to miss the point both times? I’m glad for you that your family had enough money, resources, and mobility to get out. That’s great. For you. There are lots of people who can’t get out, and don’t deserve to be stuck in those conditions that they have almost no power to change.

I don’t disagree. I think sometimes the left gets very caught up in finding the most eloquent and precise way to articulate how correct they are and forget to do the little things like “get votes” or “pass laws”.

If Gorsuch and Kavanaugh fooled her, she’s not perceptive enough to be in office.

I think a lot of progressive/liberal messaging is just a circle jerk anyway. The message wasn’t intended for the people being screwed over in red states, it’s for people ‘in the know’ to hear, nod, and pat themselves on the back about.

It’s also just a weird message regardless? “Come chill with this dead person!” is just a weird perfume ad.

I guess there’s no new Depp/Heard news, and the Met Gala was soooo long ago. Too bad nothing of note is happening in the Supreme Court!

He’s not even asking that question though. He’s talking to her about her response to transphobia. I guess you got clicks and I’m writing a response, so the strategy worked though.

I just pointed this out in another comment. Thanks to the electoral college, just deciding to cut the red states adrift is basically just shooting ourselves in the foot.

It’s also just a bad strategy for the way our government works. The blue states get bluer and the red states get redder, but because of our fucked up electoral college and congressional system, that basically just gives the red states more power.

Thank you for boldly missing the point.
