I sometimes use it with my kids, but it's hard to imagine saying it seriously to someone I didn't give birth to.

I have never been a shipper, but for some reason I am really rooting for Phil and Carol.

I think if I had to choose between Alicia and Frank Prady I would vote for Alicia. Prady seems like a better person, but he also seems naive to me, without any real understanding of what he would be get getting himself into.

Yes and no. It was ridiculous that she wanted to be UN ambassador with no real experience or credentials, but it's hardly ridiculous that she was bored and frustrated by the ceremonial role of First Lady. And it's totally understandable to me that she would be tired of always putting Frank's career ahead of everything

Touche.

Closer.

Have you read Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy? It's about exactly this kind of project, with a better infrastructure and no reality television component.

I wish Taylor Negron had been included.

Harold Ramis died right before last year's Oscars, and he was included then.

If there were an alien invasion, I guarantee you Mike Huckabee would say God was punishing Earth for legalizing gay marriage.

I have been doing that. It doesn't give me the steps (so I almost never hit 10,000), but I like having the record. (I am a data person.)

I have the new FitBit Charge HR and it doesn't track my cycling. Which is a bummer since it is something I do for an hour or so every day and is my main form of fitness.

Remember the time that he and an entire blue-instrumented orchestra broke into Robin's apartment to ask her out on a date?

To be clear, I agree that what Edith did was inexcusable. I just don't think Mary is any better.

I agree that what Edith did to the Drewes was terrible, but Mary has caused actual harm to Edith. A lifetime of cutting remarks is part of what made Edith who she is. And Mary also sent away Edith's suitor in season 1; if she hadn't done that Edith might be happily married today.

What drives me nuts about both Grantham and Bates is that I think Julian Fellowes thinks they're the heroes, and we're supposed to be rooting for them and approving of all their terrible behavior.

I want to stage an intervention for Anna. If you can't tell your husband that you were raped because you're seriously afraid he'll fly into a rage and murder the perpetrator, that should be a red flag.

Wasn't that Sybbie?

The episode with the burned guy is probably my least favorite whole episode, but my least favorite scene is definitely "Matthew magically regains the ability to walk, because reasons."
