I'm very obviously late to this, but that reads in a Mr. Torgue voice in my head...

It was a thing of beauty. Sucks that she was driven out.

He was gone all too soon, and I shall miss him terribly.

So, the Mets refusing to trade with the Yankees... does that fall under:

Stephen Lynch represents my district, but I'm writing in for Presley next time around.

“When will this nightmare end?”

I’m having a hard time discerning what it was about her response to the “joke” that was incorrect....

Everywhere I’ve lived in the US (DC, San Francisco, and Boston) has generally followed the “walk left, stand right” rule. Perhaps this varies city by city?

Nice.

Disagree. (With regards to the second hand. Willing to accept your representation of your first hand.)

Kummerspeck.

Working for USA Gymnastics seems a lot like playing drums for Spinal Tap.

The Venn diagram of those days is a circle.

Good to have you back. Now I suppose I’ll read your rant...

I was at a wedding in Alabama a few years back and, as the only “Yankee” there, was informed on more occasions than I could count that the south had, in fact, won the Civil War.

I used to ride the B branch of the Green Line. Now I’m on the commuter rail.

I was about to say “pics or it didn’t happen.” But now I stand mollified.

Not to be snarky (which is, admittedly, internet speak for “let me be snarky now”), but a single vehicle going 150 mph is less impressive a feat when you consider that high speed trains the world over routinely travel 150+ mph. Musk’s idea, such as it is, strikes me as far less efficient than the T here in Boston.

“Keep using the f-bomb idiot so we can substantiate how stupid you are. Good lord. What is wrong with you? Please keep trying to corrupt the country with your Deadspin bullshit. We see right through you. And your garbage. Thanks!”

I think this headline is a bit more accurate. Maybe there is some small sliver of hope for 2018, after all.
