You’re right. It doesn’t look like a Buick, or even a “doesn’t look like a Buick” Buick. This is a good thing. I have been left generally underwhelmed with the new Buick styling language, and that is why my expectations for a “sporty coupe” concept were fairly low.
That mid-size Buick CUV is going to make money hand over fist. Money that will allow Buick to sell things like the Cascada and the Avista.
It has a twin-turbo V6, so they’re pretty much already there.
No Mr. Raible, you had it right the first time. That was Matt Blair. Would you like a cookie, son?
If you have a good doggy, does anything else really matter?
You guys found something more depressing than Drew Magary’s twitter feed.
I’d like to see some statistics on sucessfull rebuilds of two rotor mazda RX-7 and RX-8 motors, I bet its in the low double digits like 30%. The motors are not disposable but not nearly as friendly to a refurbish as a piston engine.
“As with any rotary car of this age, I’d have it gone over internally to make sure it’s within spec and not in need of a rebuild”
It’s like I’m torn between two sides on this. It is so damn cool, and awesome and everyting but it would be an absolute pain in the ass to maintain. You would have to find Henry Wankle’s great grandson to rebuild the motor every 30k.
Except the Skylines were meant to be tuned, and were GROSSLY underrated from the factory. Try more of the 320+ hp at the crank. And seriously 90's era auto slush box? And good luck finding any aftermarket support compared to any RWD 90's Nissan.
Along with the Gary Anderson miss in ‘98, and the Favre INT in ‘09, the Vikings certainly are bewitched.
I have absolutely nothing against the Vikings or their fans, and in fact wish they’d won this game, but I’m deeply looking forward to Deadspin getting their hands on some cell phone vids from Vikings bars on this play.
The same fan threatened to blow up US Bank Stadium if the Vikings signed Robert Turbin.
Sikh and you shall find bigots and racists everywhere.
