I get what they are thinking - keep guys like me from bailing the moment Westworld ends. That said, its confusing as hell.

You forgot the Vesper. Its ok - not everyone understands its awesomeness.

You’re completely incorrect that divorced men don’t have a choice. Quite the opposite.

Divorced dad of two for 10+ years, here ....I do all of these things while juggling a job as an exec with an F500.

I’d love to see how these folks would handle it if they had disposable income enough to invest in anything. Just look at the celebs who claim to be. woke - I don’t see them donating half their net worth to people who are losing their jobs in droves due to this shit.

So much of this seems to be you guys whining about how TLJ gets shorted in this film, that I feel need to say that TLJ was an awful take on SW. I appreciate that Rian Johnson was trying to do something different, but:

TLJ was a good looking movie, and I enjoyed the Luke / Rey plot and the notion that Luke has rejected the Force.

I am a man who spends significant time crafting electronic messages to ensure the tone is appropriate.  But yeah, all men are the same (including you, Nick)

Not in tech, friend.  In tech they get stock.

So all employees of WeWork deserve pity as a rule.  Sounds logical and workable.

Guarantee the custodial staff is employed by an outside agency. They will be working in a new building next week.

Her character is not memorable: boring, poorly written, and first appeared in a shit movie. Hence the oversight by the author.

That’s exactly correct:  “Sir, in the future please don’t eat on the platform. I know, its not posted and it’s definitely not a big deal, just for the future.  Thanks.”

Star - better than the post and reflects the life of my fellow frequent travelers.  Not asking anyone to feel bad for us, but don’t judge either.

Let’s be honest - she ain’t a fan of Israel or Jews, so they will be exceptions to any of her self-imposed ideological “rules”.

She also engaged in a level of “whataboutism” that would make Trumpers proud.

The Root has always been the best of these sites and it isn’t especially close. Thoughtful posts that include opinion backed up by critical thinking, as opposed to ideological purity without nuance and harsh judgment based in many-a-jumps-to-conclusions. The Root, its writers, and the topics it covers actually stand

She didn’t deserve the treatment she got from Red State, and it was wrong to cheat on her husband. Both of these things can exist at the same time. I don’t think she should have resigned her job for infidelity.

Yup. What shocks me is how their response was so tone deaf / non-strategic. They could have just trotted Finance Bro out for a mea culpa / genuine apology and most of This would have died down.  Instead they irrevocably damaged the reps of the org, execs, etc. and Finance Bro’s once promising career as a baseball

I don’t understand who is advising these guys.  Just say, “I screwed up and I own that. I am sorry and I won’t let it happen again.”
