I’d love to see the entire thing, those are newer RDX wheels aren’t they? On a first gen turbo-RDX? That sounds tight!

Nice pics! What sort of camera? Ive always had a soft spot for Acuras (proud owner of an Integra GSR back in the day) and this looks like a sweet ride.

That said, most people who buy this car will be listening to Spotify or iTunes files that, no matter how good the stereo is, will not live up to the crazy level of detail that this stereo can deliver. Read more

A Model 3 does not weigh less. The TLX is the size of a 5 Series for LESS than the price of a 3 Series while coming better equipped and being more reliable to boot. Read more

All of the suggestions are bad and the people who made them should feel bad for suggesting them.

I’m not too sure how much to value the opinion of someone that doesn’t think 320kbps from Spotify is enough. I highly doubt 99.9% of reviewers can tell the difference between 320kbps and lossless for a song like Africa.

Grew up with (thanks to my dad and our friend at DejaVu Audio) Mark Levinson Stacked Quads, Magnepan Tympanis, etc, and several different car stereo systems. Currently drive a 2019 RDX and I have to agree that the ELS system is amazing. It’s a significant improvement over the ELS system in the 2006 TL I used to have.

It’s not depth of field.... it’s perspective. Longer lenses make the background bigger relative to the subject, and also kind of flatten the subject. The background growth helps isolate the subject, even without blowing the background out. Read more

I think he was talking more about compression in general, more than depth of field. I caught what he was throwing.. He talks about the wide angle distortion, how minimal the compression and wide angle distortion is at the “normal” focal length, and so on.

Compression works like this: Wide angle makes foreground look Read more

I’d hate to take a road trip with you, since you don’t plan to stop to piss at any point in 8 hours. If you charge whenever you stop, you don’t arrive with an empty battery.

I drove a Model 3 from Syracuse NY to Badlands SD, and by charging whenever we stopped to use the bathroom or eat it only took us 20 minutes or Read more
