The astro has one of the most terrifying crash test videos I’ve ever seen.

All Wheel Steering is on the FWD versions only.

There is also microphones in the cabin that are used for cancellation and engine noise suppression or enhancement (using phase to cancel out engine noise or to let it come through more clearly).

Canada is standard AWD, so the pricing is higher than the US standard pricing.

Interesting you should mention that. Back in 2010 the TL’s ELS stereo at the time won and award for best stereo, even compared to the B&W and B&O systems of the time. I haven’t heard the current crop of B&W systems, but what they say there rings true today for the ELS (I have heard the Stereo in the TL of that time

I haven’t heard that system sadly. I really like experiencing good stereos, and cars are one of the last refuges were you can actually crank it without disturbing others.

That’s not how power works. Speakers are given an efficiency rating, which largely dictates how much power they will require for a given playback volume. Also, the lower the frequency, the more power required - this is why subwoofers often come self-powered with hundreds (sometimes over 1000) watts. They need that

Here’s the layout.

Front Dash: 2 tweeters on A pillars, center speaker on dash.
Front Doors: 1 midrange and 1 woofer per door
Ceiling: 4 overhead speakers above each outboard head.
Rear Door: 1 midrange per door
Rear Dash: 2 midranges and 2 subwoofers.

Audio is about more than throwing speakers at you, you need to tune them

If you feel you’re a golden ear, I would suggest you go check this or the RDX with the Studio 3D stereo out. I have quite a few different reference points for audio (High end Over in, In Ear headphones, Powered Monitors, 7.2 Home Theatre) and completed an Audio Engineering program over a few years where we mixed and

“Baked in weight distribution”? A battery in the trunk is the better place for it? BMW worked HARD to make those cars balance. Yes, the engine is not as far forward, but that doesn’t mean the FR layout is instant 50/50. BTW, the new TLX battery is also in the trunk, and now it has Double wishbone which the 3 series

Guilty until proven innocent!

Right I forgot about the Focus PHEV  Escape PHEV.

So is the plug in hybrid part alone. Besides Mitsubishi and the Rav4 “never sold at MSRP” Prime, not much else competes in this price bracket.

Please list all other 3 row Plug in Hybrid SUVs that compete with this car, I’ll wait.

That’s really impressive looking. Also like the forward-thinking engine options. Well done!

It’s a 10 inch wide screen, not full screen. Trust me it’s plenty big, and has 2 separate sections so you can have 2 different screens up at the same time (Maps and now playing, for example).

Accords come with 45 series tires, not 35... The standard wheel is 235/50R18 for the 2021 TLX, optional tire is a 255.

Double Wishbone front suspension (absent on 3 series), standard turbo engine and a torque vectoring AWD in Canada (absent on lexus IS), larger trunk than a A4... lots of things. Standard equipment is also much higher than other brands, and when you compare feature to feature the TLX will be 5-10k less.

There is no 60K model, and that interior (minus the sport seats from the A-Spec) is standard. The TLX V6 with AWD is faster than any accord, this car is even faster than that.

Interior - The stupid Acura Dynamic wheel thing on front and center seems really dumb, also no volume control knob. Thought Honda learned that lesson already.”

Volume control knob is next to the touch pad, which is where you hand natrually rests. There is also skip forward back from the same spot. Lastly, you can
