The part in Canada is around $170, and the labour is around $188.00. They were hosing you.

Obviously not the negative cable, those are short. What year I’ll look up the book time.

Yeah, it’s outselling a lot of german rivals (retail to retail) for a reason. The 8 speed DCT definitely helps bring the 0-60 time down as well.

6.9 seconds for the 2.4L I4, 5.7 seconds for the 3.5 V6 AWD.

Except real world reviews say it’s fine and actually nicer to drive than the non hybrid V6. They also cut the costs of the hybrid to a mere $1400 over non hybrids, which is great. Stop looking at numbers, they don’t tell you everything.

Good try, but it’s more like “I really don’t want to wake up the kids, so I’ll soften the ride, and then tomorrow when I’m on my own I’ll remove all the body roll and floatiness”. Being able to remove that float that “luxury” cars are supposed to have is nice. Not to mention, this is a fairly normal feature for this

Price brackets? The TLX is supposed to have a fairly low starting price, can’t do that with a W16 under the hood as a base model.

What part of “My RDX with a rear facing car seat is miserable” didn’t get through? I have an RDX, I put a rear face car seat in it, it was miserable. MY Prius Prime had more room up front than my RDX.

Yeah. The Highlander has always had a bit more EV power over the Rav and Prius motors, so the weight savings and efficiency are definitely helping the 4 cylinder pull even.

Well, you don’t know what you miss if you don’t test drive right? It’s free after all. I’ve been using a 2019 MDX the past couple days, and given it’s modest power ratings it fucking boogies. It has great power delivery too, doesn’t spin, just squats and goes.

Great, then you should also not be so upset or protest-y about it either then.

It’s a 4 cylinder now. Apparently it still feels just as peppy as the V6, thanks to weight savings and more efficient drive line. There is a couple first drive reviews out, and once I saw that it still tows the 3500lbs that the previous does, it kinda threw the last nail in the “next car” coffin.

The hybrids have been 3500lbs towing, and the new one is no different.

You’ll also never have everything that comes with a modern car, EI: Safety ratings, infotainment features, resale value etc etc. These things sell like hot cakes, so your take isn’t in line with the market.

Pilot has more room behind the second and first row though, and beats it on fuel for the non-hybrid.

Well the MDX out handles a lot of the non luxury competitors. It has more power, adjustable suspension so you can have the best of both worlds, and better AWD tuning. Compared to a pilot, it’s a sports car.

The new hybrid (2020) isn’t 306hp, it’s 243hp.

Don’t go by HP alone. The fords are pigs and the 290/280hp competitors aren’t much slower, if at all.

What civic can tow 3500lbs, seat 8, and get 36mpg (not all at the same time mind you)? I need the towing, and I want the 36mpg. I have a kid on the way and my RDX is miserable with the rear facing car seat as well so more rear room is also needed.

You could do worse than a hybrid at $50k. Have you seen how much people dropped on lifted trucks that don’t actually work? Try $100K.

I would be in the upper bracket for this car, I want Hybrid, AWD, and all the features. I would also own it for a long time, and the fuel savings over my current RDX would bring this
