So, they have dragons, but....how did they plan to use them if Dany can’t ride them in battle? She can’t wear armor? Tactically and strategically Team Dany is a mess...

Or Maud’dib. The curse of the oracle, man.
I just figured Euron’s not the kind of dumbass who sails by a giant island fortress that has three dragons in it and anchored his fleet elsewhere. You can always row to shore and ride to King’s Landing (or wherever) without having to take every last ship everywhere you go.
“Plus, who knows, maybe you’ll learn something from them...”
I think they meant there were no Tyrells/Lannisters we care about (or would be in enough danger) to warrant a lengthy fight scene, not that the outcome was unimportant. We care Highgarden fell, but not enough to spend limited time (10 episodes left!) watching a bunch of extras flail about.
“I think I’ll go for a walk”
I’d wager the proof of Jon’s legitimate claim is in the giant pile of moldy books Sam is transcribing. Too neat? Yeah, but, beats a ‘research montage’.
Yep. He will find the document that makes Jon the legal heir - right now, even if everyone in Westeros knew about “R+L”, he would still be a bastard, just the bastard of a different Stark.
I don’t know why he doesn’t lead with it, honestly. He was dead and came back to life - not ‘mostly dead’ or ‘I think I’ll go for a walk’ dead; he was ‘build a pyre before he becomes a wight’ dead. That he was brought back? That says a lot.
Right? A lot of the Euron “sailed by Dragonstone” complaints pretend like you can’t anchor a fleet and row to shore and ride the King’s Landing or wherever. Why would any competent admiral sail by a fortress like Dragonstone?
If they give a bit of “we lost this and that many ships/men” next week, it’ll really help. I’ll wait to see if they do it before being too annoyed.
Spoiler: VERY
...and stop turning people away with purity tests.
Sorry, wasn’t criticizing you, just pointing out that breaking up the camps isn’t the problem since the camps aren’t much of a solution.
What happened to Murray was a travesty. He was a shitty mayor, IMO, but he was unfairly smeared by right-wing, anti-LGBTQ powers.
I was back visiting a couple weeks ago. Yeah, it’s got actual businesses you can walk to instead of graffiti-laden drug squats.
McGinn is running? I’ll say on a personal note - fuck that guy. I shoulda punched him in the mouth the one time I had a chance.
Ha! Seattle is, has, and always be allergic to city planning. They didn’t even have an office for it until the 80s.
Exactly! I loved the Puget Sound, but boy did I hate Seattle. But, it is a city that is allergic to public planning and competent management.
Actually, the camps are the problem. They do nothing to break the cycle of homelessness, and conditions in the camps (drug use, theft, sexual assault) exacerbate it as well. The real solutions are hard, costly, and not politically convenient.
