I also played against Miyamoto once. It was at a closed doors unveiling of New Super Mario Bros Wii, I believe. The first four player one. It was myself, two other journalists and the man, the myth the legend. He DECIMATED us and was not shy about throwing us into chasms and stealing power ups etc. It was hilarious

I’ve been preaching this to everyone I can. Videos don’t do it justice. Once you pay this game, its impossible to not feel wowed in the same way as gaming jumping from 2D to 3D.

Yes! Giving the player pretty much all of the important tools for manipulating the world straight out of the gate is a massive departure from Zelda’s usual MO, and it was a brilliant design decision.

I also love the decision to give you all the tools you need in that first section. So afterwards, when exploring the world, if you see something you want, odds are you can figure out a way to get to it.

Climbing and deep physics-based gameplay have changed the idea of how far an open-world game can go basically forever.

It was then that Fujibayashi and his team realized they’d made something special a very big mistake.

Reuben, what happened at the combined?!

I keep thinking this guy is driving.

These fucking shit fucking fuckers

“Dammit”

Well, since each one weighs 3400 lbs, they’ve at least made over 1.5 tons of them.

Dude, galactic edge. Next gen edge dude.

Damn, that’s some next level edge you got there.

The price of admission is 100 percent to the GM, 100 percocet to the owner.

Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of chances to make up those points in the lightning round! Now with actual lightning!

Virginia gets zero offense from their bigs. The only one who can do anything is Wilkins and his offense is mostly mid-range jumpers. The only points they generally score are from offensive rebounds and when they get a pass and dunk it (and Wilkins is the only semi-reliable one there, too). They can’t create anything

You’re wrong.
