What struck me was his remarkable consistency with each delivery. I was looking for perhaps a slight deviation in the leg lift that might tip a pitch. None there. If you watch each pitch his foot reaches the exact same apex, framed by the diamond shape that his arms make, right before he moves to the plate.

If you watch again you’ll see that the ball boy was looking at D’arnaud (Mets catcher) and trying to get out of his way only to find himself in the way of Flores. Definitely shity for the Mets but I have to agree that calling the ball foul is the right call. No intent on the part of the ball boy.
