Say what? The first episode was fantastic - it begins with exploding nuns, has a sequence where bike riders are decapitated with a chain saw as they ride by, and culminates in an unintentional warehouse massacre. What more can anyone hope or ask for?

I’m sorry, but this episode was not ‘thrilling’. We already know the outcome of Control’s nefarious plans so there wasn’t much thrill to be had. As if to prove the point, the writers couldn’t resist breaking the alleged tension via a knowing wink - when our time traveler tells Pyke of his inevitable fate.

Who made that list? What is the point of ranking enablers?

Jesus Jarma.

Sean Bean is currently starring in the Sky tv series Curfew, and I jokingly wondered how many episodes he would last. And apparently the show was in on the joke when they killed him off in the third episode.

Yeah, does not compute...particulary since the episode is primarily about reverse engineering its own retcon (Discovery’s morally ambiguous Sec. 31 has been corrupted by a rogue A.I).

Charisma vacuum? Jeffrey Hunter walked on water.

No comment about Sam and Duke independently seeing a ‘ghost’? (Grand)Pa seemed to appear to both of them so as to watch over them.

If suicide is the easy way out, why don’t you try it coward.

It sounds like you’re watching a cereal product - sci fi is meant to be challenging, not comfort food.

This season might be more consistent than the first one, but it seems to have become so run of the mill so quickly.

I think so.

Is thrilling a typo? Let me correct that for you.

No comments about the Rust Cohle sighting at the town meeting? It might not have been Matthew McConaughey, but it sure as hell looked like him (and the camera seemed to want us to see him sitting there too).

We still get two versions of Alison’s death in the second ‘story’. In the first version, Ben killed Alison and dumped her corpse in the water. In the second version, we can see that Alison is not dead yet and semi conscious - and so she lets herself die by being embraced by the water. To cut a long story short (via

Yep, and its huge.

I’m very pleased to see Harry Lloyd getting more prominent roles of late. We all know him (of course) as Viserys Targaryen from the first season of Game of Thrones. He is also currently playing very different roles in J.K. Simmons’ Counterpart and can be seen holding his own in Glen Close’s The Wife (playing a younger

Took the words right out of my ass.

So 6ix9ine is about to turn state’s evidence to lighten his rap sheet? Not very gangsta rap. Looks like the posturing little bitch’s days are numbered...and his murder will somehow turn him into a tragic figure and increase his sales posthumously.
