Thank you for the link, but Jezebel sites are the exception not the rule. All I know is that the man is still touring, people still pay for his concerts and music, he is still played on the radio, he is still collaborating with artists, and he still has quite a large fanbase.

You’re absolutely right, but I’ve noticed that the Blaq community doesn’t denounce him (or Chris Brown, et al.) and call him out on this predatory and abusive behavior. That’s a problem, too. And I say this as a Blaq person.

I think it’s also because the Blaq community has consistently rallied around him and still supported him despite all this. If we (Blaq people) don’t speak up against this predator, it seems like we don’t have a problem with it.
