I looooooooooved this show but it did seem like most of the story arcs were kind of wrapping up at the end of last season.

Considering how willing she’s been to tank her own political career, I assume she must be getting a payoff from SOMEWHERE... but it’s not enough for her to pay for her own vacations I guess?

I think it’s a salient point that the people directly affected will be the classes of upcoming students, i.e. typically 18 year old kids. Forget the hemming and hawing about who should or shouldn’t “count” as women - if you’re a gender non-conforming kid in today’s environment, I think you should be allowed to do

So we all agree, right, that running in itself is boring af?

Weed consumers are not, like, a special niche group you need to accommodate, I’m pretty sure every American adult knows at least a few (or did in college at least). If anything someone needs to write the opposite article, because hanging out with Weed People while not partaking yourself tends to SUCK.

When I bought an air fryer I purposely picked one that was advertised as an “air fryer/toaster”, and this was a lie. Not even a button that said “toast”. I suspect genuine combination appliances do exist, but buyer beware I guess?

For a while I lived near an Aldi in an impoverished neighborhood. There was literally always someone standing around in the parking lot asking to return people’s carts for them so they could keep the quarter. So in a sense these people were “working” for Aldi, or at least replacing the labor Aldi won’t hire, but with n

I had $0 in income at age 15, and at age 32 I can’t afford to buy a house. Pretty sure no one’s retiring who isn’t already close to retirement.

You guys know that Reductress is making fun of you, right? Like this website specifically.

I dunno, AI seems like the natural answer to this problem to me. There’s nothing “personal” that I have to say that would be comfortable or professional in a handwritten cover letter anyway.

If Netflix doesn’t see enormous losses from this decision, I’m sure every other streaming service will be pulling the same kind of nonsense in a few months.

Thank you, first time in a long time that lifehacker has written about a problem that I actually have.

One woman told me she was hospitalized for an eating disorder as a teenager. I asked her if she still struggled with food, and her response was, “No, of course not—I’m getting married,” as if an eating disorder was a problem that needed to be solved before the rest of her life could go on.

Cool, this is an equally weird response.

This is a (very obvious) correlation/causation thing. If you can afford a genuinely walkable neighborhood, you are probably already wealthy enough that the statistics favor you being healthier, happier, and gaining more wealth.

Yeah there’s like 0 chance that this guy wasn’t abusive.

The more we talk about it, the more “major” a release becomes. So if it’s really so bad that it’s not worth talking about, what are we doing exactly?

I don’t understand why people are so up in arms about this game. If you don’t like a game, you can simply not play it?

FWIW the experience of taking public transit is also getting stressed out for an hour or more every day, and also it smells bad.

    ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my godddddddddddddd
